15:45 I don't wanna spoil the story of Sonic Frontiers because it's a great story and I recommend checking it out, but it is very similar to what you're saying. This song thematically fits the situation you're in, story wise and gameplay wise. Also there's a vocal version of this song.
Trust me, If you were to Watch people React to Undefeatable, and SEE how the game actually introduces you to the song, I promise YOU WOULDN’T be disappointed
I really hope you do a part 2. Sonic Frontiers has 196 total songs, so it's impossible to get a good feel of the soundtrack with just 6 songs. Cyberspace is a pretty small part of the game. Most of the game takes place in the open world and fighting minibosses
Sonic Frontiers blow me away when I first played it and the ost was definitely one of them. Kellin Quinn killed it when it came to the vocals he did for the game and got me into checking out a few of his other songs after I finished the game. Frontiers was one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long while
The Frontiers' OST reaction is finally here! Glad that the vocal themes were included as well. Hope to see you cover more sonic vocal themes in the future.
Love your reaction when you realize it's Kellin singing, vibing to the song while headbanging and when you start recognizing the voice your head just stops in place while your brain is processing the information xD
You don't know how STRESSFUL Cyberspace 1-2 was. Not because of the level itself, but because of the target time needed to get S Rank. You need to reach the goal in 55 seconds or less, but the problem is a normal run takes about 1 minute and 10 seconds, so you need to be a dedicated speedrunner or just REALLY GOOD at Sonic games to get S Rank in 1-2. On a related note, Tyler Smith did the vocals for Infinite's theme in Sonic Forces.
So. The way this game works with its music is interesting. You have orchestral tracks, usually piano, for exploration. Running around unfamiliar open areas. Then you have the ravey electronic Cyper-space tracks, which are little levels you find in the open areas, set in a virtual world. Then you have the heavy rock[?] for the Big Boss Fights. 'Im With You' is for the final boss which is why its going for the feels.
I love watching people hear Undefeatable for the first time, especially through the game. It's all EDM Cyberspace alongside the ambient piano of the island and then "BAM! I HEARD YOU LIKED LIVE AND LEARN - TRY THIS!" I definitely suggest listening to some of the island movements. There are mixes on YT where they flow together really well.
Undefeatable actually plays during the FIRST boss of the game, so it started how huge the other boss fights are if from the beginning they put such a banger.
Thanks for reacting to this. I’ve been hoping for a frontiers reaction at some point! Definitely hoping for a part two as there’s so much to this soundtrack.
I'm SO glad you're checking out Frontiers! This game has quite the varied soundtrack. I NEED you to hear Break Through it All (I was sad it was absent here lmao), Genshi, Blood Flow, Another Passage, I'm Here (Final Battle), and probably like a dozen other tracks from this game. There are also OSTs for the open world exploration that are orchestrated and segmented into movements, progressing to the next movement with each Chaos Emerald collected. They're not really good for reaction videos in my opinion since they are so long, but you should definitely listen to those on your own time if you have the chance!!
Fun Fact: Aside from Enjoy This World, Tomoya Ohtani, a key member of the sound team and a legendary figure within the fandom, is the one who composed all of the tracks you listened to here!
i love those soundtracks but specially find your flame, because it is the tails island music and the vocal in the background in the part: " You know I'll turn you into rust, grind you right down t o dust, You thought you were the best, well, you haven't met us " remember me of the tails voice, atleast in brazil it is a bit similar and i am a bit obsessed by miles so if he is in the game it already got my heart
Cyberspace is where all the traditional "Sonic style" stages are, with the islands being the meat and potatoes of the more open exploration gameplay that Frontiers introduced, as well as being where the main thrust of the new combat system is (including all the minor and major bosses).
We *need* a part 2 oh my god, there's so many good songs in this game, especially some of the overworld music. It's so serene compared to the boss themes (I personally love "I'm here - revisited" the most of them all, but all of them are bangers)
Cyberspace 1-2 Flowing being so short makes a lot of sense in context too, the S Rank speed requirement on this stage is insane! It's like 55 seconds or smth!
One really funny thing about "I'm With You" is that you don't get to listen to the theme if you're on easy or the default difficulty. You have to play on hard or extreme difficulty. Someone told me this right before I got to it and I'm glad they did But it is funny they decided to do that. Another thing I noticed, after listening to the OST upload multiple times, is that the OST version only plays the non piano section once and then ends with the piano fading out, where as the in-game version plays the non-piano section twice before going into the piano fading out. I can definitely see why they did that, as listening to it as a song and listening to it while you're playing are two different vibes.
It’s always fun seeing a Sleeping with Sirens fan react to the Titan themes, not knowing Kellin’s going to be the singer. You can see the dots connect immediately.
The music of this game is so incredible to me and part of why I love this game so much. You have chill music for the islands and fishing, dubstep music for cyberspace that’s hype, and then you have scream rock for each boss fight, and it’s all so good
I'm with you is one of the best battle tracks I've ever heard and manages to be triumphant, beautiful and slightly somber. Sonic music never disappoints.
Would love to see a Part 2 to this! The Area music for each of the Island Movements have some beautifully transformative songs and each of the character songs for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy are good too! Would also love to see you listen to the version of I'm Here with lyrics
I use the whole album as background music for other games, also love that they did instrumentals for the 3 main vocal tracks so you can really hear the instruments
The Cyberspace are time trials and they are simple just evoke a feeling while you speed through the stage. I love how they implemented it because usually i like stopping to listen to the song when they are more complex and since it's simple i can just vibe to it.
@@spooderman320 The combat has no depth and boils down to button mashing and occasionally holding the parry input, barely anything happens in the story until the end and it relies too much on callbacks to previous games, the environments are either bland Unreal demo (islands) or re-used assets from previous games (cyberspace), the cyberspace levels are almost entirely recycled layouts from previous games, the platforms and rails used for 99% of the platforming look like placeholders and make the islands ugly as sin, the characters control okay but the platforming is haphazard because the devs just handed over the reins on how to make Sonic control to the player with a ton of settings and therefore Sonic doesn't have consistent movement for them to build level design around, a huge amount of the "platforming" is the player being railroaded along automated segments and some of them lock you into a 2D view you can't leave until you complete the platforming segment, the character models (other than Sage) are the same ones from over a decade ago with minor touch-ups and are unexpressive and stiff, and the bosses are either basically mini-games to make up for how lacking in depth the combat is (most Guardians) or clearly unfinished/rushed. Knight never uses the shoulder lasers shown in the cutscene between phase 1 and 2, the final boss is a recolor of the first boss, etc.
You didn't listen to the best song Feat. K Quinn. Thats Break Through it All! Its such a heavy song that absolutely slaps and the structure of the song is quite unique compared to most songs
OMG!!! You’re reaction to this soundtrack made me cry. I need a part 2 of this soundtrack so badly. You’ve only scratched the service of this emotional whiplash of a video game soundtrack. 😅
I don't know if you will do a second, but I must say my personal favourite is One Way Dream which is actually a message from the sonic team to their fans in song form.
I also recommend some songs from the Sonic Frontiers Expansion Soundtrack, like the character movements. Also some of the island themes (7th movements for those with them) would be dope!
What you heard in this video was from the linear side stages, the boss of the first area, the boss of the third area, and the games end. I would recomend giving not only some of the other boss themes, like Break Through It All and I'm Here(re-visited) a listen. But also some of the open zone themes(my personal favorite is Kronos Island's 7th movement).
Flowing is small and repetative because the levels are small. Cyberspace levels are tiny little worlds that are meant for speed running. These songs start when the level starts. It can be a 3min level or a 40second level. I think this was the first time I even heard the end of the song. IMO Flowing is the best and it is on a map I ran a lot. Just my times for it were 55seconds to 1:30 not 2min like its length.
Since elden rings dlc is around the corner it would be cool if you check out some of their boss themes or just fromsoftware music in general after your done listening to frontiers of course
personal underrated recommendations that i havent seen in the comments yet, for variety id add fishing vibes and cyberspace 4-4: wishes in the wind. also looking forward to a potential part 2 or even 3
and you didn't even get to the more experimental stuff! I think it shines through a lot and shows just how versatile the game and it's universe is, and, obviously, how talented the composers are. There's some hidden gems like the Ghost theme, Cyber Space 2-1, 3-4, ESPECIALLY 3-5 and 4-3 OMG
Finally a reaction video where I am not slightly salty that the person lisrned to only the simplest of the Titan themes, Undefeatable, and didn't make another video where they watch THE GOAT, FIND YOUR FLAME
My recommendations for a second part would be: Cyberspace 4-1: Exceed Match Break through it all Cyberspace 3-2: Go Slap Guardian: Ghost I'm Here (Revisited) Dear Father
I love this reaction, But you really should have started with Undefeatable, because that hits SO MUCH HARDER if you hear that before the other boss songs x3 Also, a little fun fact: as happy and upbeat as some of the Cyberspace music sounds, the lyrics of every song, if you combine them, tell a very dark story about ancient beings being trapped inside with no wait out, repeating the same memorys of their destruction over and over in a loop that they can't escape from! It is just such a fantastic soundtrack =D ALSO: I'm with you is the final boss theme xD
Frontiers when that first trailer was shown had intrigue. It felt BotW-esque. It's music was low key. Almost mysterious. And then the game releases and you're running through stages with music that rocks this world. And fighting bosses to music that blows your mind. Truly a great game.
Sonic Frontiers is chock-full of great music tracks. Theme of Starfall Islands, Break Through It All, Dear Father, I'm Here, Blood Flow... The whole game has a very solid soundtrack. (Well, the Sonic series in general has amazing music.)
Your husband's in for a treat, this is the best modern Sonic game. Especially for long-time fans who've been in it since the classic era. And DEFINITELY deserves a Part 2 for the OST, because holy hell.
Kellin Quinn. That’s all. Have a nice day.

The Frontiers' OST reaction is finally here! Glad that the vocal themes were included as well. Hope to see you cover more sonic vocal themes in the future.
Definitely needs a part 2, there’s so much more good stuff you missed that i think you’ll love
15:00 Man I'd LOVE to hear what you think of the version with lyrics. Especially after hearing the original ending credits song.
"Im with you" it's the theme of the final boss
13:49 Yeah this one is supposed to be sad at the end (no pun intended).
The girl that was helping Super Sonic against the final boss blows up.
I HEARD YOU LIKED LIVE AND LEARN - TRY THIS!"
I definitely suggest listening to some of the island movements. There are mixes on YT where they flow together really well.
Ooooh I'm excited for your reactions on this.
Edit: Part 2 please! More of the vocal tracks!! This OST is the gift that keeps on giving.
Ghost is my favorite guardian boss because of the music
Spider tho... ..
Tyler Smith has actually sung a sonic song before which is infinite's theme from sonic forces
I’m with you has a lyric version, I highly recommend it, hits you right in the feels!! Same with theme of starfall islands!!
There’s a One Ok Rock song in this game btw.
Vandalize is the unsung goat of Frontiers if I’m being honest
The music for the boss fights are so damn amazing
IlexEmily finally checked out peak Sonic OST
We *need* a part 2 oh my god, there's so many good songs in this game, especially some of the overworld music. It's so serene compared to the boss themes (I personally love "I'm here - revisited" the most of them all, but all of them are bangers)
Cyberspace 1-2 Flowing being so short makes a lot of sense in context too, the S Rank speed requirement on this stage is insane! It's like 55 seconds or smth!
One really funny thing about "I'm With You" is that you don't get to listen to the theme if you're on easy or the default difficulty. You have to play on hard or extreme difficulty.
Someone told me this right before I got to it and I'm glad they did
But it is funny they decided to do that.
Tyler Smyth does the rap-style lyrics, he also worked on the forces soundtrack for infinite.
It’s always fun seeing a Sleeping with Sirens fan react to the Titan themes, not knowing Kellin’s going to be the singer. You can see the dots connect immediately.
Everyone else already said this, you definitely need to hear the rest. They re seriously bangers.
Break Through It All is personally my favorite.
"I wonder if this is gonna be quite different?"
Very.
Ironically enough what you said about I’m With You, it’s the song that plays when you fight the final boss of the game, fittingly
called The End
The Cyberspace are time trials and they are simple just evoke a feeling while you speed through the stage. I love how they implemented it because usually i like stopping to listen to the song when they are more complex and since it's simple i can just vibe to it.
If you get around to making a part 2 - Break Through it All is a banger 🙌
Part 2 is necessary. The final horizon update has some amazing music and there's a vocal version of I'm With You thats gonna hit insanely hard
Dear Father is also amazing, its legitemately difficult for me to listen to it because of the story context
Oooh yes, sonic frontiers, I personally couldn’t get into the game myself but the music is pretty good
Not worth it, honestly. I got the game since it had good review scores and looked like it was taking itself seriously, but it was a huge letdown.
@@100organicfreshmemes5 and whys that
@@spooderman320 The combat has no depth and boils down to button mashing and occasionally holding the parry input, barely anything happens in the story until the end and it relies too much on callbacks to previous games, the environments are either bland Unreal demo (islands) or re-used assets from previous games (cyberspace), the cyberspace levels are almost entirely recycled layouts from previous games, the platforms and rails used for 99% of the platforming look like placeholders and make the islands ugly as sin, the characters control okay but the platforming is haphazard because the devs just handed over the reins on how to make Sonic control to the player with a ton of settings and therefore Sonic doesn't have consistent movement for them to build level design around, a huge amount of the "platforming" is the player being railroaded along automated segments and some of them lock you into a 2D view you can't leave until you complete the platforming segment, the character models (other than Sage) are the same ones from over a decade ago with minor touch-ups and are unexpressive and stiff, and the bosses are either basically mini-games to make up for how lacking in depth the combat is (most Guardians) or clearly unfinished/rushed. Knight never uses the shoulder lasers shown in the cutscene between phase 1 and 2, the final boss is a recolor of the first boss, etc.
@@100organicfreshmemes5 okay
Same, I get motionsick from the wacky camera
The Titan boss fights were on the level of Metal Gear Rising hype.
You gotta do a Part 2 to this because there's SO many good songs you've gotta hear from this OST
We really need a part 2 for this video, she needs to listen to the island themes
This barely scratches the surface of the frontiers ost.
There’s like, several different types of music in this game, and you listened to two of them.
You didn't listen to the best song Feat. K Quinn. Thats Break Through it All! Its such a heavy song that absolutely slaps and the structure of the song is quite unique compared to most songs
And makes And Already Amaizing Boss fight go EVEN HARDER!!!!
Find Your Flame is better than Break Through it All IMO
The miniboss themes are the best part of the game, at least *FOR ME.*
Ghost theme 🔥🔥🔥
OMG!!! You’re reaction to this soundtrack made me cry. I need a part 2 of this soundtrack so badly. You’ve only scratched the service of this emotional whiplash of a video game soundtrack. 😅
EASILY a top 10 game soundtrack of all time for me
How we say to her that Undefeateble is only the ost of the first boss?
And Find Your Flame Is the THIRD Boss!! Wait For Her to Heat Break Through It all, she Will Pass out.
I don't know if you will do a second, but I must say my personal favourite is One Way Dream which is actually a message from the sonic team to their fans in song form.
There's actually a vocal version of 'I'm With You' too
I also recommend some songs from the Sonic Frontiers Expansion Soundtrack, like the character movements.
Let me remind everyone that they got the LEAD GUITARIST FOR MEGADEATH on this OST. Thats all
"wondering if this will be different then the cyber spaces" proceeds to hit one of the hardest rock songs in the game 😂
Since elden rings dlc is around the corner it would be cool if you check out some of their boss themes or just fromsoftware music in general after your done listening to frontiers of course
personal underrated recommendations that i havent seen in the comments yet, for variety id add fishing vibes and cyberspace 4-4: wishes in the wind. also looking forward to a potential part 2 or even 3
You need to se the vocal version of "I'm with You"
and you didn't even get to the more experimental stuff!
My recommendations for a second part would be:
Cyberspace 4-1: Exceed Match
Break through it all
Cyberspace 3-2: Go Slap
Guardian: Ghost
I'm Here (Revisited)
Dear Father
On another note, im digging Emily's game exploration arc too.
If I'm with you makes you emotional, wait until you hear the vocal version, and especially Dear Father.
I'm with you does have a lyrical version and it IS a gutpunch
Seeing a video of the wyvern fight on Twitter made me go from just mildly interested in this game to getting it day 1. I HAD to play those bosses.
I love this reaction, But you really should have started with Undefeatable, because that hits SO MUCH HARDER if you hear that before the other boss songs x3
Also, a little fun fact: as happy and upbeat as some of the Cyberspace music sounds, the lyrics of every song, if you combine them, tell a very dark story about ancient beings being trapped inside with no wait out, repeating the same memorys of their destruction over and over in a loop that they can't escape from!
It is just such a fantastic soundtrack =D
ALSO: I'm with you is the final boss theme xD
20:05 I tried playing this on drums back in January... damn my fingers hurt 😂🤘
And DEFINITELY deserves a Part 2 for the OST, because holy hell.
the complete lack of island themes is criminal
