Sonic team actually confirmed that the physical look Sonic had during the final attack is Cyber Super Sonic. It's even in the data of the dlc that gives that form the name
Sonic has a grudge against Knight cause that Grand Slam was PERSONAL 32:14 I heard that when the chaos energy us gone, the process reverts the body back to a healed state.
Plus the Cyber Super form was unstable cause while floating in space he is battle damaged. When he shouldnt be able to take damage at the cost of rings.
@@midnighteclipse6989 To be fair, you could consider the max ring drain that The End's attacks a form of battle damage. Could also just be dirt from punching a hole through a moon, plus the fatigue from overusing an unstable power.
22:40 Your reaction was good bro. Sonic snapping his fingers was PEAK FICTION! Sonic is literally a shounen character bro. Sonic should continue having cool anime fights. He's literally an anime character. And I stand by that.
@@OneBrokenEgg I know. I'm just saying I think the Sonic games should lean more on the anime influence. I think he would bring so many people's attention if he had more anime/Japanese influence.
I like the idea of struggling against this crazy powerful being that regenerates any amount of damage you do to it until you finally find another solution, and now knowing how it works the fight is awesome; it's just a complete crapshoot figuring out to dodge around to the wire and Cyloop the gun. I think a good fix for this would've been to give the boss multiple hitboxes like with Giganto including the gun and the wire, that way you have much more freedom of where on its body you wanna attack, and with maybe a small hint showing up after he gets his wire back telling you to look for something to use to your advantage, you can make the connection of "oh, I gotta Cyloop the damn gun".
“What happened to the voices in the back giving you hints?” Sonic Fans after Generations final boss happened. Sega didn’t ever do the “Background characters yelling hints” because of the major backlash afterwards
Wish 'ey did a sonic game like this again with open world, skill tree... Etc. YET more Sonic Adventure styled, like, a not so lonely-melancholic world with more alive NPCs, multiple PCs options, or even multiplayer and online-! I'm aware it coul' be much tho
Pure Blunt Force is what can kill the titans. Hit them hard enough and they go down instantly. Same for the end. Both times we kill the end it dies from being hit by pure velocities
I have to wonder how you even managed to get to The End on Final Horizon when you needed to do King Coco's trial, and beating The Knight in good time means sidestepping his shield.
@@LocalTrapTV I was more wondering about the sidestep part because I thought it was fairly obvious how to disconnect the big tube that attaches to Supreme and heals it. I don't want to be mean though, I had to look up how to beat The End on Final Horizon myself because cylooping the rifle wasn't telegraphed well at all. Personally I was disappointed with the game but I'm glad it was successful and so many people had fun with it. I just hope the next game is a major improvement because there are a lot of big flaws IMO.
@@100organicfreshmemes5 Late reply but I had the opposite issue. In the knight fight, you can sidestep the shield but it's not exactly intuitive, even if you don't do it, you can either bash the shield for the next part or cyloop him, you're not blocked from progressing because of it. My reaction was to try and cyloop and others had similar reactions. With the end, it's not intuitive whatsoever, because why on earth would they put target switching behind sidestepping instead of an actual target switch button? However, in the knight fight, you see sonic cyloop the sword in the cutscene, so when a similar scenario where the end loses it's own weapon happens, it was obvious to me.
Great reactions again, your facial expressions be killing me bro 😂 but lemme tell you whats reallyyy good the TRUE final boss is the button config and that FUCK-#+**ING TREE 😂😂😂😂😂😂 exactly how i feel 😂
Supreme instead of it being just a recolor of Giganto with a jetpack and a gun, should have been a mix between all the previous titans. But at least The End battle was better than the Space Invaders looking final battle

If you didn’t know, Local, you can actually parry Giganto’s laser by rapidly pressing parry
I DO definitely used it to get through that last trial LMAO 😂

Sonic team actually confirmed that the physical look Sonic had during the final attack is Cyber Super Sonic. It's even in the data of the dlc that gives that form the name
yeah, developers usually don't name things what they're meant to be named, which is fine because factually accurate names are low priority
@@iinkstain They probably just didn't really care enough since it was barely a transformation. it was more of like a upgraded super sonic
Ian Flynn did recently give the actual name for Super Sonic 2 though. He called it Starfall Super Sonic.
@_SSCJ I'm gonna be honest. Super Sonic 2 just sounds better than Starfall Super Sonic
@@Shinjikeaza I like starfall personally. Sounds more original.
Crazy how it's been a year since this game dropped. Will never forget how hyped I was playing Giganto, Wyvern and Knight for the first time.
Once in a lifetime experience right there

21:50 The timed music makes this scene fucking PERFECT
Mechanically, The Supreme End is not a great boss fight. However it’s still hype as all hell.
Very correct statement ‼️
True tbh. I also hated having those annoying ahh trees on my screen when fighting
Yeah true knight takes the cake for the best gameplay IMO, but supreme challenge for the perfect parry to be actually fair with his punishing attack.

Ian Flynn completely went HAM for Sonic Frontiers.
he did not, it felt like more worldbuilding and less actually fleshing that out
