I recently brought 2 discovery sets; 1 accidentally, but I’m glad it happened that way. This House is so solid and needed. I’m all in on their offerings. They are so strong, smooth, and well blended.
Wearing for the first time today. It is wonderful. I’ve smelled Osmanthus a few times and just love it. They’ve done a terrific job highlighting and amplifying the different aspects of the flower.
Another stellar review Yve. Only ever got to smell a real osmanthus flower once and still remember its sweet, humid and buttery aroma. Tiny bit of citrus too and animalic up close. Can't wait to hear your take on Lyric Woman.
Good to learn everything you share here. All unfamiliar to me. I did not know much about that note. I do like leather when done well, soft and feminine in fragrances!
Saving this to my watch later list coz I CANNOT miss it! Have adored the sample you sent me and I’m listing after a bit more now that the house is available in Oz! 😍
I haven't committed to any from this house, but I keep going back to sample them - Fougere Emeraude is one I keep going back to. I'm going to try to get a sampke of Cuir de Chine again to try!
I loved this review, Yve! There’s something about reviewing a fragrance you love… you describe it in a way that makes me want to try it, even though I had no real interest in this fragrance. I also appreciate you giving us some background info on the house. It’s like the idea of a house thinking of itself as a capsule (fragrance) wardrobe. That will definitely effect how I approach the brand and their fragrances. I keep getting told I need to try their fougere.
Thanks, Mario! I appreciate it. 🙏 The house has so many great fragrances to try! I'd love to know your thoughts if you ever get a chance to check them out.
Wonderful review, I wish more people would talk about this brand, their attention to detail and philosophy are fascinating! Rose de Jamal is my favorite, but I think I will add Cuir de Chine in my collection too, it is such a refined but joyful beauty💕
Hey Yve! 👋🏾 Great review! I was very impressed with this one! Not sure if it will be my next purchase from the house. It's your between this and Chypre Azural.
By far this is the most realistic osmanthus perfume I’ve ever tried . Definitely going to get one bottle for myself.💙💙

Agreed! It brings me joy, too.

Nice review, I like Osmanthus in Vahina of Sylvaine Delacourte and in L’île au thé of Goutal. I have never smelled any perfume from Les Indémodables.
I think you'd like this house, Isa. Vahina is lovely! I'll have to check out L'île au thé.
Great review! Osmanthus is a fascinating note. Their bottles are a beauty. Love it!
Thank you! Osmanthus is so multi-facted, I love it!
Ohhhhh… need to check for a sample
Hope you have access to one! It's worth checking out.
I haven’t heard of this. It sounds… very interesting. Thank for sharing 💕

Thank you! Rose de Jamal is sooo lovely. I'm thinking of finishing another sample of it before deciding whether to pull the trigger.
@@yvespiderssmells9956 I am sooo curious about rose de jamal! I want a minty rose but florabotanica didn't do it for me. can you detect the mint?
I literally just sprayed this on from their sample set, it is so good! My favorite from the line so far.
I think it's my favorite, too!
Nice review.Have not smelled anything from this line.
Thanks, Robert! I have a feeling you'll like at least one thing from this house. They make really interesting and complex fragrances.
Really loving the fruity, dusty leather nuances. Apparently I love Osmanthus 😁
Glad to hear you love this note, too! Thanks for watching, Brandon 😊

Thanks, D'Angelo! Cuir de Chine is impressive indeed.
How does it compare to Osmanthe Yunnan? I have that one but thinking about trying this one also.
My fav osmanthus too, really love it, but the price 💔
I agree, the price really puts a damper on it 😢
