You just needed to take off / remove the cold air plastic pipe to take the whole stock air intake box out. Nothing holding it in other than that.

Did you get any powertrain warning lights a few weeks after installation? Mine recently displayed 'engine service now' and cut the power, dont have a clue what has happened

Iknow it’s been 2 years but anyone have a fix for this?
AIRTEC induction is not ideal as the MAF housing is machined at slightly the wrong size 63.5mm instead of the correct Ford size 63mm should have gone ITG
Still managed to fit it in on mine, bit tight but is defo doable 👍
Heard the same about ITG barely fitting because of the headlight
