Wow! That’s awesome! It’s amazing how those tracks stay up on the snow. I guess the trick is not to spin the tracks thus digging into the snow. ? I Realy want tracks for my quad. I love winter camping and this is exactly what I need! Wow Realy love what you did here!
What a life you live brother!! That by far was one the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen!!! I am so envious of where you live. One day I’ll make it up there and maybe we can do some riding and I can finally see snow!! Thank you for sharing this with us Osta!!! 🙏💯👍🏼
Oh my gosh, man! What an amazing adventure! This has to be one of my favorite Osta vids of recent! The snow flinging off the tracks and the trees getting shorter as you approach the higher altitudes! Wow! Awesome video, buddy! Cheers from your friends here in Alaska!
@@ostacruiser your videos have always been very entertaining. So when you ran back and fourth in that bounty hole with the Sherp did you collect the bounty ?
LOL I know you own a shovel for that kind of riding. Looks like the machine with those tracks could take you just about anywhere you wanted to go. Awesome video
This video convinced me to sell me Arctic Cat 700 with the Arctic Trax system... I just got a Can Am Renegade X XC 1000R with the Apache Backcountry tracks... looking forward to snow here in Colorado !!
Awesome video Osta! Made me wanna get some tracks for my Max XT and head up to Canada! Your Neutrinos would have looked pretty cool on those trails at dark too!
Would have loved to been there with you, I would have been riding the timber sled snow bike. I would have been hard-pressed to leave that seriously beautiful scenery on top with the blue sky, I would have built fire, roasted some sausages and made it last an hour or so longer. 🔥😊🏔️
@@ostacruiser Absolutely my friend!! I miss riding terribly. Had a 700 kingquad with 30 inch black mambas. Sold it like a dummy. Lol. It was a fun unit. I have to get another! Your vids keep me dreaming bud and I am grateful for that.
I’m so far behind on your videos again. But. I’m gonna start working on it. Be prepared for possible comment and liking overload from me. Lol. But. Video was awesome. Scenery, was BEAUTIFUL! I’ve loved Yeti since you first debuted it. Those tracks make magic happen. I was sitting here going “that snow isn’t even deep” when you were stopped. But all the spray/roost from the tracks made me think otherwise. When you said it was halfway up your thigh though. Wow. Those tracks would be serious lifesavers in terrain like that! Which obviously they were. 1.5hrs one way up. Thats a helluva ride! Thanks for the view.
A mod i did on my quad to limits some of the snow flopping on my face is i added plastic strips above the front arches. Nothing big, just about 4 cm tall (wide as the arch goes) and angled down to break the arch's angle and force the snow down. Makes a huge difference when you ride, and almost no snow gets on me.
Hey david. So comparing the yeti build (xmr) vs the full pull (renegade) with the Backcountry tracks which in your opinion is the better performer in the deep snow?
Well FullPull is the clear winner but that is because of the 1085 mod shop motor I am running. Stock to stock the Outlander may take it because it doesn't have the low geared transmission
Hey Dave, seeing videos of you (and also Harvey Spooner) riding in the snow has inspired me to upload a RUclips video of my quadbike trails ... which are a little bit different to what you are dealing with: hot and sandie. :)
WHAT'S THIS??? Ostacruiser trail riding? Right on! WOW! Love that pic at 3:34! I've done a lot of quadding and sledding in that Golden area (and south) and ya man, beautiful country! Thanx for sharin'!
Great place, great Atv and great beautiful tracks! ... and great resistance to cold hands! When I go on the snow with my CForce I resist half an hour before freezing my hands! 😁❄️👍🏁💪
Hey buddy. Great videos! I've been following you for a while and I love them. Beautiful pictures and lots of fun :-) question for you. What kind of machine is that and what size? I have a couple polaris's. Both are 500. I've been riding most my life here in Michigan. I still have two dirt bikes and two quads. Was thinking about looking into a machine like yours. Anyways thanks for the great videos and pictures! :-)
Yes as mentioned above. Its a 2017 Outlander xtp 1000r with Apache backcountry tracks. I have a few mods on the machine as well, clutches exhaust fuel controller etc.
I road motocross when i was younger, but have never road a snow machine, but what your riding,i would take over a snow machine any day!!!...Great video!!!
2 things. If you had some drone shots that would have been awesome and if you had a BV206 would also been awesome :) But all in all, was a nice video and the picture was pure winter wonderland
Awesome video!! This is the most fun riding if u ask me i just got a quad kymco mxu250 and i love riding in snow its a little bit challenging but not too bad
Seeing all that white winter wonderland makes me green with envy. Absolutely beautiful. Hello from South Carolina. Enjoyed the video.

Amazing views you had there!. Love how the snow comes off the tracks looks sweet!
Well Dave, you continue to outshine ATV commercials for nearly a decade and this one... 👌🏼
haha thanks dude ❤❤
You should always Circle back when you arrive at the top of a landing like that so that you're facing back down and then turn the machine off
Definitely good advice
This is the kinda stuff I fantasize about
LOVED THIS VIDEO, SO BEAUTIFUL. AND GREAT CAMERA WORK!

It’s crazy just how impressive that machine is!! 👌🏼
Thanks dude! Yeti chews so good for sure
If I ever move to Alaska, I'll have to have a Yeti like that! Of course, the chances of that happening are just about nil.
Awesome video Osta! Made me wanna get some tracks for my Max XT and head up to Canada! Your Neutrinos would have looked pretty cool on those trails at dark too!
