Dont get me wrong, chipp is very good right now, but when in the world are they going to make his wall-run stuff more viable? Its like one of the sickest aspects of the character and yet you barely see it at all

if they made his 41236H.S super wallbreak, it could be viable. Unfortunately thats very unlikely

Yeah it's pretty sad. Wallbreaks got a lot better recently cuz positive is so strong, although it got toned down a bit. And you can practically always get a hard knockdown if you're willing to use either tension or burst gauge so you can do safejump or 50/50 whatever after wallbreak and then get your positive bonus so there really isn't much reason to go for a wall mixup instead.

Sorry for a month late reply you probably know now but When Gio gets half tension and full tension she gets stronger, that was just the visual thing

I'll never understand why some Chipps will lose a whole match getting combo'd with full burst. Saving it for retirement or something?

Chipp does low damage and requires a lot of interactions to kill, so if the opponent is close to full health and you've already won the first match, it can be beneficial to hold. If a chipp has already made a mistake and is at halfish health, then gets hit by something big, he can TRY to gamble the round on a quarter health offense with no wild assault, or wait till next round with full health and both wild assaults for an even more potent offence.
