  • Weight loss is challenging under the best of conditions. Trying to lose weight while you are in pain and having difficulty walking makes it even harder. In this video I share a couple concepts around hormonal obesity and the effect of chronic pain and glucocorticoid production, Cushing Syndrome, and why calories in calories out isn't always an effective strategy.

Thank you for all of your great support & education! After 13 years of serious knee pain, the surgeon told me to lose weight to get surgery because lower BMI leads to better outcome. I found Intermittent Fasting and lost 50 pounds controlling my insulin through that approach. The surgeon was so happy for me and I'm now having my 2nd knee replaced and enjoying less pain and more energy after all of these years.
