i just came across this video, im 45 yrs old an have had perthes disease all my life, when i was was 5 in 1981 the doctors had no idea how to deal with it. when i was 18 they gave me 2 options fuze the hip solid or wait till im 50 and have it repplaced, well 30 yrs of working , walking on my right side (the healthy side) i know have now ruined my right foot and right knee. i hope everything went well with the surgery.
I had a total hip replacement 5 weeks ago,had perthes since i was 11,im on crutches and its going to take some time to walk properly again.watching your videos has made me realise that were all different for recovery, you have done so well😊.
I just had my hip replacement sept 26 I had the new way Anteior hip replacement it's less recovery they don't cut muscle that's the good good thing . Always remember the new way of hip replacement. But u did good
Cookie Cookie95 my surgeon suggested for my replacement a posterior cut was needed unfortunately which means a harder recovery but glad yours was easy!
