- I've been using this crochet technique for years when I kept getting stuck with a crooked seam while making hats, gloves and anything in the round. I hope this helps you too! Please comment or message me if you have any questions.
OMG this video has just saved my latest project from being thrown on the fire, I have tried half a dozen times to get a straight seam on a sleeve and I was slowly losing the will to live, thank you so much 😊
OMG! I ripped a beanie apart at least 6 times trying to get it right, and I was ready to pack it in. Thank you so much for this explanation. I’m about to rip it apart again and do it your way!
I was today years old when I learned this! Thanks sooo much for posting this!
I tried other techniques before finding your video. This is the best so far. Thank you!
Oh thank you so much for this tutorial❤ I'm busy making a sock for my kid and my seam was going diagonal. Was about to give up until I found your channel. Thanks again soo..much. Love and take care. From South Africa.
Thank you for this!!! so much clearer than other tutorials on this topic.
I'm a couple of years late to the party, but want to say thank you! This is the easiest, best explained method to keep the seam straight that I've seen. 😍👌
Life saving, game changing, thank you SO MUCH. That's very simple, for a neat result, that's wonderful.
Wow! This technique makes a wonderful difference. Thank you so much!
This is the Best Straight dc join, huge thanks
Thankyou so much for this! Been trying different ways to avoid that seam for a long time. Perfect!
Clear as mud
So happy I ran across this video-I have stopped doing 'seams' on anything and just been doing a continuous stitch because I absolutely hated having a crooked seam. When will add more videos? Do you make booties or baby sweaters?
Excellent video. Thank you so much for posting.
Thank you very much....this really help me. 👍👍👍
Does this method also work if I’m using single crochet on my project?
This was very helpful thank you! Totally died laughing when your son started singing the SW theme. Its very big in our house hold too...and were all adults..... haha
I was so happy to see your video. Started practicing immediately but mine still gets crooked. I do make the sequence: start in the stich right under the slip stich, start in the next stich. Don't know what I am doing wrong 🤷
Thank 😊you for this tip!!!
You saved my life❤
THANKS...MY PROBLEM HAS SOLVED. THANKS
Thank you so much... I got d answer of my problem.
Liked this tutorial..ty…..
Great trick! Thanks so much!
Thank you. ❤
THANK YOU!!
Very helpful, thank you!
Thanks a bunch!
Your video is great but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve watched like 5 times!! 😭
It's because the video sucks
Thank You!🤗
what if you are doing a mesh in the round? Would the same rules apply?
I am using a herringbone half double crochet stitch and turning the garment after a sleeve round. I have also tried it without turning, but its the same effect, a travelling seam,. Likewise, crochet as usual and turning the garment, like some videos suggest, does not resolve the traveling seam. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thx!
Are you crocheting into the split stitch at the end ??
Will this work if you use spike stitch as well?
I tried this method with single crochet rounds, so I did the sl st to join each round then ch1 and then placed my 1st sc accordingly like the video and for some reason it still gives me a slanted seam...what am I doing wrong??
Hi there, can this method work on HDC & SC ...thank you
I also wants to know.. Wants to try it with HDC & SC.
It works with HDC
Is it compulsory to follow both d ways? Can i follow one way i mean i do chain 2 n double crochet in same stich n do last double crochet in d last stich. Can only this works?
Or I need to do other way in which chain 2 n double crochet in next stich n last DC in a stich b4 chain 2.
I’m also using this
i tried this, and my seams now leaning to the left instead 😭
Brilliant. Thanks
Se metti il dito davanti non si vede niente!!! Cerca di tenere per favore il lavoro dritto, non piegato, non si riesce a vedere bene altrimenti. Non si capisce niente
will it decrease for each round?
Will this concept work with hdc and sc also
I must be the only one getting confused with which row is which😂😂
