What do you think of the Oknife S1?

Recently purchased and blown away at the quality, utility and efficiency. I ride motorcycle and this will be on my person every time I ride. Not only is this a very useful emergency breaching/rescue tool, but in a pinch, can be used for self-defense and in that capacity... it's a nasty, nasty tool you don't want to be on the receiving end of.

@@Treman77 Thanks for the experience, I'm glad you like it! I'm curious, do you use gloves with it and is it the self defense aspect that appeals to you over something liek a ResQMe? I can defintely see it being a nast thing to get 'poked' by.

Glad it works for you! I just wish the ergos were better for the prybar and glass breaker

looks more like a half-baked solution looking for a problem. The ergonomincs ( as you said ) seem off for use as a glass breaker

Yeah, it looks cool but I think it got lost in the tacticool factor over function.

Looks can be deceiving. Try it before you condemn it. For its size, compactibility and price, you can't get a better emerg'cy tool.

I think a lot of people's reactions will be similar, especially if you don't like/already have a pry bar!

Then it's not for you. Why are you here?

@@Treman77 um to check if i have a use for this. it's a good video. but i have no use for the item. why does that offend you?

another pointless thing that people pay good money for, and it will be a rebadged thing that costs more than the origional no doubt

It's most likely a rebrand, I don't think Olight makes anything but torches and accessories themselves. Price wise they tend to be similar or a bit cheaper than the original if you buy during the sale at least.

Says the person who has never held, used or paid for it. It's easy to criticize from your keyboard. How about you try it out and see what it can do.... or is that too much to ask from a couch potato?

seems like maybe they intended you to be wearing gloves when you use.

A padded work gloves would definitely make it more comfortable on the pry side.

Seems like you've never held or used it. How about you try it out first?
