Great intro! I have an Olight prybar in my bag and want to add some sort of additional multitool into it. Will keep an eye out for one of their sales on this.

I do use the can opener and am happy this tool has it. But you're right about the bottle opener. Every tool has one or can be used as one. Other than that, great video.

Nextool has a mini sailor scissors where the pliers are replaced by large scissors and the smaller scissors are replaced by small pliers. I actually have the mini sailor scissors and the scissors are great. It also has a flat head/ file to replace that can opener combo. I feel like a DIY mix of the two would be great.

Thats a thing already in motion. I have the nextool on the way. I'll do a review on that, then maybe film the process of me swapping those parts or making a video of it after the parts are switched.

You kept comparing it to the leatherman juice, do you mean the leatherman squirt p4?

I edited the description to clear that up. Thank you. I may redo the whole video though.

Its a nextool mini sailor . Only difference is the scales. The mini sailor is 10$ cheaper.

The far greater amount of people would prefer a bottle cap lifter. It has a can opener too which may be useful one day. I wonder what the benefits of 30cr13 would be over 3cr13? More chromium might make it more stain resistant but also more brittle I should think.

It's scissors are more comparable to those on the Style PS and Squirt PS4 if you're comparing to Leatherman. Nextool make a version of the Sailor mini where the pliers are replaced by scissors similar to those on the Style CS (the one you have) and judging by my Nextool Flagship Mini which has the same type of shear scissors, they are probably very good.
I like the look of the Otacle and can see it as a good competitor to the discontinued Leatherman Squirt PS4, and also the Gerber Dime, which is in more of a similar price category.

I was actually searching for exactly that, the difference between Otacle P1 and Mini sailor. So they are exactly the same in terms of tools and quality?

Dont know just yet. I'd assume yes, since both seem made by the same company. I do have the mini sailor scissor version on the way to do a comparison & tool swap. Pop back in in about 2-3 weeks to see the comparison video.

Olight has the Otacle P1 listed as having a toolset made from 30Cr13, nextool lists the mini sailor as being made from 420J2 and 420J1... That said Nextools amazon listing states the mini sailor is made of 30Cr13.... So Im not sure what to believe. I have a hard time believing they would use a mildly different metal between the two tools.

I really hate that it doesn't have a pocket clip. I don't like it bouncing around in my pocket with my phone. :\

Wharncliffe blades have a straight edge and the sheepsfoot a small amount of belly, nothing to do with the spine. Otherwise enjoyed the vid.

I Disagree with the points about tool selection. I think it’s perfect for what it is.
