The entire album is well done. Recording, arrangements (instrumentally and vocally), rhythms, sonic - tones. A lot of nuance. Listen to it with good headphones to hear the nuggets
If you haven’t listened to this album please get it and play it non stop, I’m obsessed and I’m 50! Love every track it’s brilliant, Wolf Van Halen is incredible, what a talent!
What a performance!!! His voice is SO good!! And props to their sound engineers for doing a killer job too! Wolf, thanks for keeping rock music alive and well!!
Im from his dads generation lovedd all his music and his mons shows Now i live his kids music just like van halen..every single ive heard is a winner top chart music way to go he just proves to all kids that rock and roll will never die
Sorry i wrote many words wrong what i was sayiing was i came from eddys generatiion and that it he shows a lot of his dads side but hes his own self, well wolf , see u at the grammys you just showed al the young generation that rock and roll will never die
Wow dad would be so proud not bought any cds for a long time but had to get your album bet your mum and rest of the family carnt stop smiling i have always been a fan of van halen since the start and at age nearly 70 years old didnt think i would be enjoying this kind of music and my family laughs how i still have the music turned up so loud my motto is rock till you drop chris from uk
I have heard his music as he released it and every song sounds great. Total talent. Hard to believe he sang lead, backup, and played every instrument then arranged it , produced it.. really awesome. And now he has assembled a nice band putting out that same sound. . A chip off the old block.. I kept telling people hey have you heard Wolfe’s music? Listen to it! Doesn’t sound anything like vanhalen and that’s what he wanted..All the way around it’s kick ass music.. it’s wolfies music.. dad taught him well.. mom is I’m sure beyond proud..keep rockin man...
Damn, the huge amount of talent that is always associated with the VH name, has just gone to Ludacris level! Wolfgang seems to be a genuinely humble guy with a pleasant attitude. Which is very refreshing to see in someone with this degree of talent. I wonder if he even realizes how talented he really is? I love the musicianship, and his voice is freaking phenomenal. Glad he's not buried in the background with some other band and he's up front and center, because this is definitely where he belongs, and his namesake has absolutely nothing to do with it. This guy is pure talent! Extremely well done sir! So looking forward to more and more music from WVH!
@randy Maxwell That's very dismissive after seeing his legendary father in concert 3 times ,but I guess his dad's material if before your era . Actually I'll give you this great for your era cause if I had a son or daughter and they liked wolf's music I would be proud . rock music just got revived by Wolfe .hope to see some of the talent that can play his dad's style come forward and harness some of Eddie's licks and incorporate that into their own signature sound .rock needs a comeback
@@kevinlimpert8523 Not trying to offend or be insulting, but I think you misunderstood my friend. You're confusing two different terms - (regardless of) and (in spite of) - I stated the former of the two terms. What I had stated in my original coment was, "REGARDLESS of his last name." (In other words, I admire Wolfgang based on his own merit, and not on his amazing late father). I'm in my 40's and first discovered Van Halen when I was 9. Eddie was the sole reason I started playing guitar at 12 years old and have never stopped. Wish I had just a fraction of Eddie or Wolfie's talent, LOL. No worries though man, it's clear that we both love Van Halen, so all is well. Hope you have a nice Christmas my friend!
Wolfie's voice reminds me of Steve Augerie. Solid singer. I also appreciate that he is trying really hard to not ride on his father's coattails, it's admirable.
Imagine if you will being the son of a true legend, a man that changed the way we approach the guitar.Much like Tim Henson is right now.And yes I dig Wolf's sound, voice and choices in music.Wait 10 or 20 years.WOW.
wolf must be pushing close to 300 lbs now. he's still a young man. i'd be worried about his health, if i were him. losing weight doesn't get easier as you get older, believe me. as far as the music, his voice has surprised me the most. i knew he could play but i didn't realize what a surprisingly strong vocal he has.
@@Scpatches That's the best quality I think I've ever seen from a phone. Hey, can you tell much of a difference with Frank not there because to me, they sounded great as a 4 piece but I haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live yet.
No people, this is not meant as body shaming. He really needs to start taking care of his health, if not he's going to be taking medicine. I wish the best for him.
I think that wolf Van Halen would be better as a background vocals like his dad like his dad he’s not a lead singer for future Mammoth WVH he should really look into hiring a lead singer
Way to clean sounding. Sounds nothing like his father. I guess he is not shooting to be like his father. I don't know. I am perplexed that Eddie only had 1 biological son. He has millions of children he influenced that are his but... I don't know. I guess we wanted Eddie to be alive through his son and continue that Van Halen sound. We're not going to get it.
Blown away by the accuracy of his singing voice. He's fuckin' nailing it!
I like that “the wolf” doesn’t try to emulate his dad, man’s got his own style! Pretty good 1st album too…
Well said
He commands the stage and I like it!
Definitely dig his heavier sensibilities.
Wolfgang gives me hope for hard Rock and Roll. Fucking love this kid.

6 years to do it. Said he wants to do a faster one this next time around. His old man has to be smiling down on him for sure.

I liked his short, but sweet fingertapped guitar solo... It was a nice tribute to *MR. ED Van Halen*
Awesome....great musician, and damn I love his vocals 🤘❤️

Bad ass. He carries the VH torch proudly!
Who knew he had such a great singing voice? Giving me Soundgarden/Alice in Chains vibes on this one. I like it!
The whole band rocks !
Such great live sound. Stacking guitar and vocals like that is genius!! Huge wall of sound, and the bottom never drops out. Brilliant
Damn! He's a good singer!
Ausome performance!!! Tight.🤟
Perfect. Doing his own thing totally with just a pinch of his Dad's swing in there... for good measure. RIP EVH
Wolfie's voice reminds me of Steve Augerie. Solid singer. I also appreciate that he is trying really hard to not ride on his father's coattails, it's admirable.
He’s way better and has a more powerful voice than Steve Augeri.

Very tight,, I’m so happy he’s doing his own thing. Ppl need to understand, he’s NOT his dad. They need to respect that.
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Love his cd sounds just like his dad on solos keep rocking wolf gang
He definitely doing good all by himself and his band🤗🤗🤗🤗
Sounds great and dam wolfie is killing it on that solo at 2.30 in the clip
Fucking killer! Dig the tunes Wolf keep ‘em coming bro.
WOW YOU GO KID THIS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best concert I have ever been to see you in April!!!!❤️🤘🏽
great video quality! I was at that show, too. First time at Whisky.
Excellent wolfie ,I'm a old school van halen fan.
This kids awesome
Great Footage!!! Im so jealous you saw these guys at a historic venue where I've been fortunate to have stepped on when I was in LA for a show
Love the kid rocking out in the front row.
🤘😝
Having Wolf helps ease the pain of not having Eddie
Good record….finally something real….dad be proud
Rocking ! best beat!!! heck yeah!
That is fkn awesome
Damn if that boy can't sing his ass off!
Wolfgang and eddie played in the same spot 44 years later

The other guitarist is using a EVH guitar with a EVH amp.
You have some amazing footage. Great equipment. What did you use to film this?
Thank you! I used an iPhone 13 Pro Max for the stuff from the Mammoth WVH gig and was using an iPhone XS Max for everything on my channel before that.

Looks like he’s missing a guitarist. I guess his tour with slash was at the same time. Didn’t know which would get a replacement for their tours.
Nope, Frank Sidoris was in a car accident so he couldn’t play. Slash was not touring at the time.
@@Scpatches I’m seeing Slash next week. Assuming Frank is back with Slash, instead of Wolfgang?
Priorities right ???
@@jasonthemason1971 looks like it, saw they were touring as a four piece again due to the Young Guns Tour conflicting with Slash’s.
I’m seeing slash next week and yes Frank is playing with slash now until the tour ends and will play with Mammoth
wouldn't you know it?..EVH + VB = genetic lottery winner...i've been listening to a lot of mammoth lately.
btw i'm 76.
I like how he has a guitar thats named aftet him that he doesnt use

he uses a 335 because he is soo huge a normal guitar would look small
Dude needs to go on a diet before heart attack

Why should Wolf have to be a replica of his dad? Ed loved the solo stuff that wolfie was working on before he passed. He's his own man.
