This is a terrific and passionate review, first class as always. Most of my viewers have been asking me to do a review of the continental scopes, and I will be doing one and I would also like to highlight your review also to back up my thoughts. Joe, This is an awesome review! Being an air rifle shooter I have been searching the web for many hours for a scope that has a good reticle, a parallax that can go down to 10 yards as air gun shooters often shoot both close and long range, I also wanted big zoom as we often want to see a small pellet hole at 100-150 yards, illumination, zero stop, and good glass. What I found is that there are a handful of cheap scopes that are mushy on turrets, have not great glass, etc. or they are scopes over 1500 as the good quality scopes typically do not have a low yardage parallax as most are 25 yards to 75 yards and low end. This is the perfect scope for an air gun shooter but can also be a great value for a regular fire arm as well! I am going to get this scope, thanks Joe for all of your help!
Just bought a Weatherby Vanguard .223 with Vector Continental 2.5x15/56 Shot it for the first time last week and was very pleased with the scope. Also have a Vector 4x12/40 on my 22LR Savage Mark II
Great vid Joe, really appreciate the thorough review of this scope. One question: since they claim to be schott ED glass, in terms of the glass clarity, how’s this scope compare to Arken EP4 6-24?
Would be very greatful for your recomendation. Athlon Argos BTR gen2 6-24x50 (30mm) vs Vector Continental 4-24x56 (34mm)? Is Continental optics clarity worth the price? As I understand Athlon allows to use scope with up to 50 bmg cal, while Vector up to 338. Does it mean that Argos is more solid and reliable scope?
Thanks sir for the considerations! I just received one like this...I am really enjoying it! Did you received a spare elevation turret? On mine ...the only way to get 100% elevation is swapping windage and elevation turrets. Thanks
I bought the Vector Taurus 6-24x50 SFP *zero stop* (lifetime warrenty) it was between this and the Discovery HD 6-24x50. i wish i could see an actual comparison... sofar im really liking the Vector. still wonder if i made the right choice though??? Joe?

Love your videos, I've learn so much from your 😊 One question regarding the illumination. At the lowest magnification are you able to see the ill. center dot, if there is a dark backround? In the video it looks like you are zoomed in the highest magnification. I'm looking to get a scope primary for PRS/ long range shooting, but it would be nice to use the same scope on when I go hunting, but again primary a scope for the range, not the woods. I'm concerned that the crosshairs might be a little too fine at the lowest setting, therefore I was wondering if the ill. is powerful enough to see it in semi low light conditions, like when it's overcast or closer to sunset? Hope that made any sense, english isn't my first language😅

Or is it because they make people want to stop drinking beer and look up a recipe on how to make a apple cran-tini non-alcoholic spritzer? Or is it because you don't want people watching it to actually feel their faces slowly sliding of of their skulls as they lapse into a coma of worthlessness? Oh, wait a minute, was I talking about unboxing videos or the RUclips de-monitizers?😝 Anyway, thank you Joe for shielding us from those evils. All hail Joe the Cyclops!!!!!
May I ask you a question on reccomendation. Would you recommend this scope over a Vortex VIPER PST 6-24X50 FFP for the same amount of money? Thanks mate
I want illumination of hold-over points so this scope is only useful for people that dial (opposed to holdover) in challenging lighting conditions. Sightron uses the same design. The pop-up thing is fine, I guess, but that is a point for water ingress. The two turret thing is a bad design. Flip covers are a lot more practical than the bikini style. I wouldn't want to carry a spare part around, and this means you figure out if you need the zero stop or not, and store the other turrets till you finally decide to contribute it to the landfill. I have a hard time making out the thin reticle. Is that the case when you look through it too or just video artifact? Joe, please double check the specification in the description. In the video you demonstrated .1 mil clicks and minimal parallax of 10 yd but description says 1/4 MOA and both 15 and 100 yd parallax. On mil, scope, btw, they should use meters not yards. They eventually figured out to use mil turrets with mil reticle so there is hope :-)
I have several Vector Optics products and have been quite satisfied with their after market support.

Viper PST isn't a very good scope. I would pick this one
@@CyclopsJoeVideos thanks mate👍👌
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Joe. I forgot to ask. Would this be ok on a 6.5 creedmoor? As in handling the recoil
@Superdude70 cheers dude👌
