Congratulations! Excactly what we need about informations for one riflescope.! I have in my mind this one vector continental 5-30x56 FFP and Vector Minotaur 12x60x60 SFP. Which of the two optics do you recommend me to buy for long distance (150- 200 m) air rifle shooting? (And with which of the two reticles)
Why does Vector now state they only have a 5 year warranty (IN THE USA) for the 34mm Continental? Did they recently change and no longer have lifetime warranty? It is such an expensive scope to risk buying to not have a lifetime warranty especially for a Chinese scope. Better off buying Chinese scopes from Athlon with a lifetime warranty.
The Vector Optics purchased from Amazon, the vector2007 store which is the Us distributor in Utah, or alibaba are covered by a 5 year warranty. That’s all Vector Optics. In addition to that, the Continental, Taurus, Aston, Scrapper and Frenzy lines are all covered by lifetime warranty.
@@stevennewman4778 It isn't true with the Continental scopes selling in Amazon directly from Vector Optics. Their Continental listings state 5 year warranty.
Nevermind since I just found out that the 34mm Vector Continental 5-30x56 isn't worth buying. The image quality is only mediocre that's comparable to an Athlon Helos and Arken and the Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR have better image quality on high magnification compared to the Continental. A buddy bought one of the 34mm 5-30x56 Vector Continentals for $450 (on sale for half price) which normally sells for $799 or $899. He told me in his opinion, it wasn't worth even paying half price for and mentioned the Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR being a lot better. He also mentioned he was disappointed in the glass and questioned if they actually use German Schott glass since it sure didn't look like it comparing the glass to the Athlon Helos and Arken (Didn't say which Arken model). He also mentioned there's a huge loss of elevation travel wasted by using the zero stop just like how the mid level Vortex scopes in the $1000 and under price points and the turrets didn't feel good stating they were a little mushy worse than Cheap Chinese Vortex Diamondback Tactical turrets. I hope to get a chance to check it out for myself before he returns it for a refund.
Please show in video riflescopes Vector Optics 4-24x56 and 5-30x56 with VEC-MBR reticle on different magnification.
Thanks...
