I've recently received some samples from my manufacturer. Some of the latter samples have a shine / sheen to them that the earlier ones don't. These are all supposed to be 95% bamboo rayon and 5% spandex. What do you think is causing this shine? It's really not suitable for the garment so it's causing a problem. Thanks and great vid!
The common thing is you better ban them from your wardrobe. No more spandex nor lycra. It serves no purpose, and does affect your health. Same with polyester, although that maybe used for swimwear (better than nylon/spandex).
Jersey is the type of Knit weave, where as Lycra & Spandex are both the fiber that the knit is composed of (or blended with). You can have a Cotton/Lycra Jersey Knit Fabric (4way stretch) or a Polyester/Spandex Jersey Knit Fabric etc.
This video says NO difference. You say "MANY differences." Clearly one of you is incorrect. Which one? While you're at it, how about listing the DIFFERENCES for us. Thank you.

basically there are 2 common way of fabric production- Knitting and weaving. Search in youtube, you will get many of those.
I was going to buy some spandex but then I researched if it had chemicals in it. Yes it does cancer causing polyurethalene.
