this is such an inspiring video ève! 🥰 I love the idea of manifesting all of your dream colorwork projects, especially using up some of your stash/yarn leftovers! I have so many colorwork dreams and would love to hit my colorwork stride this year!✨
Lovely round-up!! I will say though that for the sea of holes sweater if it is actually intarsia it would be pretty hard to make it into a knit in the round sweater. Intarsia is knit without carrying the different yarn colours so if there is lets say a pattern such as 000XXX0000 and you knit it in the round then then X yarn would be on the left side and you'd come around and want to continue knittinh the X colour but you're on the left side. It needs to be flat so that the pattern is knit from left to right and then you come back to the colour from right to left purlwise. Idk if i explained that well and also there might be a way to go around that issue without having to cut yarn. The diana sweater is definitely doable in the round and would also be way more of a pain to purl anyways. Eitherway good luck!!❤❤
Awesome compilation and so many different ones :) When it comes to colorwork I always get drawn in by The Petite Knitter ... her designs are so whimsical, dreamy and cute. Though I have yet to make one, I have to work up to the sweaters, I only have made her socks so far.
I look forward to seeing your colourwork projects. Some of them look quite challenging so good for you for taking them on. I really want to try a steeked sweater and have been saying that for the last 3 years….maybe 2025 will be the year!!
A similar(ish) pattern that I've been eyeing to the Genser Sweater is the Selbu Coat by Skeindeer Knits. It's a steeked cardigan/coat with Norwegian motifs on it
As someone who has knit the Jean sweater, I wouldn’t really recommend it. The sizing is somewhat limited, and the instructions are difficult to follow. I was in the KAL group chat when it was first released, and I would say about half the people in the group had trouble understanding the chart. The chart only showed odd rows, not even ones. This applies for both the swatch chart and the actual knitting chart. You had to decipher a lot of abbreviations in the instructions to understand the truncated chart. For me, it’s too much brain power for a paid pattern, not worth the money.
I am slightly trypophobic, and I did really not like the Beatles sweater. Good work of the patternmaker, but I am happy that I live in a country lacking in knitting fans of The Beatles... 😅😂😊

The Halibut sweater was my first ever colourwork and I managed to get it done as my Christmas 2024 sweater. I adore it!
Just love the Beatle sweater❤
You're setting yourself some challenging patterns 🙂

Try Iris by Trin Annelie. It’s absolutely stunning 😍

Hi Eve. How are you progressing with your white-orange mosaic shawl knitting?
You should also check out Linka Neumann, I think she has beautiful colorwork patterns
What about the pattern for the sweater you're wearing?
Hi Eve, would love to offer you the Jean pattern if you don't have it.
❤🌈🧶
