I don't think the band knew how awesome "Permanent Vacation" really was. It is 2022 and I listen to it every day. This album doesn't get old in the same way Pink Floyd never gets old. I still remember seeing this when it broadcast in 1987. Steven and Joe came out as guest VJs and were . . . ahem . . . less than stellar. Then the lady VJ came out to help their dialogue flow a little better.
