I was lucky enough to go to their most recent concert, this past summer.....& speaking from my own experience......It was one of the best concerts.....I went because i wanted to see Aerosmith LIVE.....they were AMAZING.....Joey, Joe, & of course....super sexy Steven Tyler....He has such charisma..... his voice, his wardrobe, his moves.....It's unexplainable.....He's an uninhibited free spirit..... con't

I dont think people realize how hard these guys worked. When the were not touring they were trying to produce albums. They were pressured to get these songs written. In the end it all worked out and they should be proud. Fast forward and now they are retired. 😢 ❤ Legendary rock band.
Agreed. They really worked hard touring especially in the 70s. It's not surprising at all they utilized stimulants and other drugs to keep up that pace. Their accolades are well deserved. Legends. Sad they had to retire but they gave us so much and we can still upload great performances and interviews.

...how many marriages last 40 years?.....It's a relationship.....if they want to have different people looking after their separate interests....who are you to judge!......As far as it being a big business & not a creative endeavour.....Pretty much everyone is driven by something.....most people go to work, not because they do something they love, but because they need to make money......What creative endeavour have you gone after lately?! To create interest in by flamboyant or dramatic methods. To intensify by questionable claims, methods, etc).......by the way I can't be paying top dollar to see nostalgia, as nostalgia is a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life & Aerosmith was formed WAY before I was even born.....so I do not possess the memories to be cognizant of the 70's & part of the 80's....I actually like material, NEW & OLD, from all four decades since the bands inception.... con't
...not what the charts or people like you say... you're trying to shove your ideas or 'HYPE' as you say down other peoples throats.....I'm not defending a myth.....Aerosmith is very real, not fictitious or imaginary.....& yes they are a very different band since the 70's & 80's....It's called change & they have evolved just like the rest of the music industry....Hence the reason(most logically) behind having different managers, lawyers, & even travelling separately.... con't

I agree, they have evolved and from a musical point of view, they have grown and improved. They never fail to impress me. Steven Tyler is simple a gifted musician. Their last single, "Legendary Child" is as good as anything from the 70's. IMO and yes, the riff does sound like Zeppelin but NOT the melody, pre-chorus and chorus.
I do say.....ritter89.....all I hear from you is, "Blah,Blah,Blah". What song are you referring to when you state, "their last song was penned over a decade ago by a hired hand"? ....I don't want to miss a thing?....Maybe you should look into the facts behind why Aerosmith didn't write the song.....Steven is the only lyricist for the band & with that would come a lot of pressure...What are you basing success on ananyway....I listen to music that I like & makes me feel good.... con't
