The arm size discrepancy between ronnie's Olimpias has to be studied.
I'm inclined to believe that he really didn't use much early on in his career and is just a hyper responder. Coz you could be on tons of gear but your body wouldn't have the ability to put on as much muscle as Ronnie.
Basically you have to win the genetic lottery first and foremost, then have to respond well to drugs, then be a hard-worker. Then have to have the appetite to eat a ton of food. Then have to be lucky to have a good enough system to withstand all the stresses and drugs you use.

Lunsford's 212 to open 2nd place finish is probably the most drastic.
Nahhh, he was purposely downsizing for the 212, Ronnie was already in the open division and made these huge gains, way more impressive

@@TheLusianPopa Iirc the mags at the time reported 238. I’ve also seen him say he was 235 prejudging. In reality when guys are that lean and dehydrated the weights can fluctuate within the hour so for the entire show he might’ve been at a mid 230s to low 240s range.
@@doublem1975x he said 238 on rxmuscle a few years back, and 242 in that 3 part interview w peter mcgough 10 years ago. Ive seen him say he was 17 lb heavier in 93 quite a few times.Maybe he does the average 238-242-=240+17=257.It kinda makes sense. There is always some fluctuation. Some magazines have him at 255 in 96 and flex says 257...the most he fluctuated is 4 lb in 97.Back then there were only 8 hrs or so between judging and finals.One day show..

Levrone 93 - 94 is a huge difference in size
I liked how leverone looked in 92 though . Fucking peeled out of his mind and completely proportioned upped to lower body

great topic! I was around when dorian released the b&W pics in flex. It was literally shocking!! Ronnie went from natty to juiced which Is why he had such a pronounced change! Beastwood did something similar actually. Benazziza had a huge transformation in one yr as well. The first yr he turned heavywheight. Unfortunately he died shortly after..

Arnold did it, ronnie did it, hell during the 2013 olympia they only made Phil pose down once they took him off stage it was a wrap no one was close they spent rest of the time comparing everyone else
Arnold was 245lbs in 74 and 232 in 75. He was 13lbs down, but pretty much all of it was in the legs
I've heard he was as low as 227 in 75.
Only Arnold knows what his weights were. It was reported that Arnold was 247 in 74 and 225 in 75.

Yates sized down in 1991/1992. Not all gains in 1993 were achieved after 92, but of course, a certain change in his PED protocol helped to initiate the mass monster era...
Ronnie winning the 2001 Arnold Classic was probably his best form, huge and absolutely ripped.
You must know that the enhancement be side enhancement oils is difficult because it is not the oil that makes the muscles bigger. It is the reaction of the muscles.

The thing with Ronnie is that he wasnt just big, he had insane muscle bellies and every bodypart was crazy good, he may have one of the best bicep peaks ever, maybe the best chest ever, IMO the best wheels ever, the greatest back ever, the greatest glutes ever, the best traps ever, .....Coleman was simply a genetic freak!
Ronnie is the best. He could be 300lbs and still symmetrical.

The welders made right bet on Ronnie - to this day we still rave about Ronnie! A great CEO knows what the people want.

Ronnie could absorb steroids better than anyone without dying
IMO Ronnie sacrificed his good genetics: small, tight, waist/ab section for mountains of mass & it was all downhill from there. Yeah, he won titles, the bodybuilding community hails those years, but I'll take RC in the early to mid-90's over any of his 300 lb Olympias. The bloated mass monster just isn't aesthetic by my likes.

I never cared much for Ronnie Coleman's physique, honestly.
Ronnie and Dorian are my favorite because of their mentality and where they come from but honestly would rather look like Flex,Kevin,or even shawn ray.

Ronnie’s a guy where it’s very easy to understand why someone wouldn’t be a fan of his physique but it’s also equally easy to understand why that physique won so much
