It's your civic duty to serve on a jury. The last time I served, the judge became tired of excuses and whining. He pulled us all into a room with his bailiff and explained why it was our responsibility as Americans to serve. He also said,"No more excuses" as people were asking to be dismissed because the felt traumatized by the case. It was a difficult case, but we did get through it. Coolest judge ever!
