      That's how it should be. Whatever time someone got, there is something interesting here.
      Any video about slings in general? Pros-/cons of the 3-, 2- and 1-point sling? I've seen some videos on the topic but I'd like to hear from someone that carried all 3 options for quite some time.

    • @TacticalHyve
      @TacticalHyve  4 года назад

      We haven't created a video specifically on that topic, but we definitely covered 1, 2, and 3 points slings in one of our videos with Army Ranger, Dave Steinbach. Unfortunately, can't remember it right now.

    Nicely Done! Thanks for the simple yet perfect instruction on sling setup for the AR15. I would have went long and at a critical time got my rifle all caught up and thus get wacked. Now that won't happen.

    I have that same hand guard that you’re using in this video. I notice that on mine it has round holes on each side both near the mag well and near the very front. They appear to be for plugging a QD swivel but when I put the swivel in those holes they’re a little it loose fitting. Are these holes in fact for that purpose? I don’t wanna use them if they’re going to get wallowed out. Any feedback is appreciated! And thanks for your excellent videos!

    • @TacticalHyve
      @TacticalHyve  3 года назад

      We can't speak to the specific model Fred used in the video, but generally, yes, QD mounts can be used with them, but as you experienced, sometimes the attachments are not a 'tight fit."
      However, if a QD mount is added to a rifle, one still notice a loose fit, too.

      Some of the M-Lock rails, like Daniel Defense's MFR, are retarded. You may need an extra piece over that hole. See: danieldefense.com/mfrtm-rail-m-lokr-qd-sling-mount.html.

    Yea this is the dumbest way I’ve seen to run a two point sling, the way the rifle rests is just sillyy! Right handed shooters listen, run you sling form the right of the buttsock! Garland thunb has a wayyy better video that goes more in depth!

    • @_Delta_P_

      Ah yes. A navy seal can’t run a sling. Makes sense. Basement operator over here.
