Football is war without weapons, but almost every demand of the majority of a region asking for more self-government or finally independance is a long way of struggle with always innocnet casualtties and even deads, instability and chaos // I really can understand , that people want their own identity and proud to be a member of an etnic culture, and really hate the mainstraim dominant ARROGANT culture and as a final solution they choose total seperation and independence as a new state /region ,..... that oppress or delete other historic evidence of a minority, or try to control them with an ARROGANCE and so called "superiority", and even punish them in history to be a minority member, ....BUT what's next? We saw in history, that it start with independence, and those oppressed people , become the oppressor,and devils to other minorities, in their region or terroritory, ...such as immigrants or refugees,or even members of that minority with an other political ideology ....if you hate with a passion other regions of Spain, (with the same religion, language, skin colour, history, etc) you hate even more refugees and immigrants, with an other religion, nationality,skin colour, etc....-) / Separatism= nationalism= racism=xenofobia
Spain has lost Catalonia. They can not risk civil war or thousands of terror attacks against Spanish politicians when ETA joins the party...
