I like the idea of Nebula having one of those "just starting to understand love," crushes on Peter. Like, nothing that would necessarily develop. But the kind of thing that might see him play a role, down the line, in her emotional growth.
Yes. I don’t want to see it bloom. I just wanna see the awkwardness of the beginnings of a crush. I also don’t like the idea of him getting with new gamora, they’re clearly not a match like they were before, she’s too dark now.
Unless mantis decides to touch her head and make her remember the alternate timeline, I’d rather Peter stay solo or find someone new

Rocket not killing the High Evolutionary shows how the character learned and overcomed his dark and terrible past, for me it's easily the best MCU film after the Infinity Saga.

Agreed. I think Galaxy 3 was in the top MCU films. Not sure if most pple know but also cause it is heavy in symbolism with the history of Humanity and other lifeforms but that's a whole other rabbit hole

Other than Spider-Man No Way Home it’s the best marvel anything rn lol.
For me, the happenings of The Snap helps on developing Rocket's character development. Like he lost his only family that he has for 5 years without knowing that they can come back. But because the Avengers finds a way on bringing them back, Rocket probably do everything he can to help because he knows that they can succeed and bring everyone back again.
Knowing what we know now from GotG3, it gives a lot of weight to Rocket's place in the MCU after the snap and why he was able to smack some sense into Thor during "Endgame."

But what about his mercenary tendencies, the kind that led him to steal the battery and start that whole mess with the Sovereignty, which led to Adam nearly killing him, which led to his recovery being the whole point of Vol 3? What did Rocket learn from any of that?

Those actions started the chain of events, that would end up being Rocket's own hero's journey. When he stole those batteries, it toppled the first domino in the string.
it was really nice to see how nebula's emotions have grown from the first appearance to the final GOTG.
The High Evolutionary is easily the best villain we've had in the MCU since Thanos
Took away his backstory as human from the 20th century, a Mancunian and depowered him significantly, just made him a generic mad scientist

James Gunn and crew really nailed this trilogy. Got around to watching Vol 3. today and it was great. They show that when you have great characters and good writing the set pieces and levels of action don’t matter or need to be the reason to see a Comic Book movie. Not that the movie doesn’t have those things but it’s so much more you’re hanging out with characters you really enjoy being around. DC and actually most of Marvel now, just can’t put this together. Man, that scene when Rocket just wails in despair and sadness after a certain bad thing happens (don’t want to spoil) was just so well done by Cooper and the animators. Felt that one deep.
Just finished vol 3 on disney plus. Im going to miss Batista,Zoe,and the lady that played mantis. Such a great way to end the series,and i hope the guardians return.

It just seemed like a Mantis thing to do and would make another fun holiday special with her and Pete since Drax would be too busy playing Santa for all of Phylla's 'siblings'
I loved this movie, it was such a great character development for the whole gang. A really good introduction for Adam Warlock too
I believe that Tony Starks dad knew who he was based on his nonchalant attitude towards him when obviously should not have been in a secret location. Howard knew everyone that was supposed to have access.

I find it funny how Rocket becomes the new captain of the Guardians of the Galaxy when in Avengers Infinity War Thor calls Rocket the captain.
That’s because Rocket passed himself off as captain to show off Quill in front of Thor.
He pretty much was the 2nd in command under Quill or Gamora
What went over my head is how smart rocket really is, building things, and solving tech, etc

Well there’s the answer for the high evolutionary fate. And it’s a very poetic way of ending his arc in this film he would know what it was like for Rocket to be kept as a prisoner minus the experimental torture and harassment

I’d be happy if the characters came back with another Guardians movie but I know that won’t happen. I’m thinking they will definitely be back for the Secret Wars. if Kang and his upcoming conflicts are still a go, it would be interesting to see how alternate versions if the Guardians are.
There's no way that they wouldn't do it, otherwise why even show the new team that's formed in the post credits?
If they were to just use them for Secret Wars, they could have just had a scene of them all together where Rocket says "we're the new frickin Guardians of The Galaxy"
And that would have absolutely sufficed.
There's definitely plans to give this new team some kind of actual run eventually, an if James Gunn wants to pipe up over the prospect of it again he needs to shut tf up and humble himself, it's not gonna affect his original vision because that's over an done with, there's a new team now with a blank slate for someone to go forward with their own vision 😊

I saw this movie twice in theaters and finished the 2nd viewing, looking forward to watching it a 3rd time. Now it is out and am resisting the urge to buy it before it lands on Disney Plus. Best GotG movie so far. One of my FAVOURITE MCU productions so far. Still gotta beat Winter Soldier, Wandavision, Homecoming and a few more.

Kraglin is one to talk about not having a cool, Metal name. His sounds like a hair band name.
Honestly I love the subtext of how this endinf shows the HE's personality and how he is so obsessed with the concept of perfection, that even in defeat he can't help himself by trying to tie his face back.
Does that mean they saved his face along with him, after dropping it to the ground? That’s like Kylo having his mask remolded after it was smashed.
Those 15 seconds of the HE in Knowhere Jail should have been included, not a lot of people notice Drax carrying him out and I always assumed they left him to die.

After everything we have seen of Nebula I find it impossible to believe that Nebula isn't able to process her feelings about someone. After all, she may have been an Alien Race at one time, but she has been turned into a Cyborg with more Super Advanced Processing abilities (S.A.P. lol) then anything the human mind can comprehend.

Nebula's arm ive notice its like it made from nano tech of Tony Stark & the vibranium arm of Bucky but still is Nebula only the one who made her new arm & added some upgrades or Rocket also help to improve it more cuz even if Rocket has Bucky's arm evetually his gonna use it to improve nebula's body somehow...

I thought he was great in Peacemaker and he was amazing as THE. I hope this ending is still canon because it would be awesome to see him come back in the future.
I hope we see more of him the High evolutionary is my favorite marvel villain they did a great job with him ,but I would like to see him continue to evolve ,and grow in power, but im not down with him being just a Kang variant, and taking over if Jonathan majors doesn't get to come back.

Honestly this is the best gaurdians of the galaxy. Every scene is so emotional and i really wish for another series but even if theres another series drax will never be same anymore. Some charscters are busy now we will not see the same characters. I saluted to the ditrector.

I loved the first one and the second was OK but they really stuck the landing with this one. There were some gripes I had with the Guardians series and they pretty much fixed all of it here. Good movie and the High Evolutionary was a great villain.
I like this. I want to see The High Evolitionary become more comic accurate, like he experiments on himself, and has a forced accelerated evolution, and heightens his intelligence and physical power, just like in the comics, and make him more comic accurate, giving him powers like psychokenesis, and black hole creation, energy blast, super strenght, super speed, immortality by like hacking and rewriting his genetic code or genome or something like that, and many other different powers. And I just really want to see The High Evolitionary vs Galactus in the MCU, just once, just once, I want to see that.

@itouchbuttons I know, but it's just that the High Evolitionary was a major galactic figure in the comics who drew the attention of beings like the Celestials and Galactus and he has even fought Galactus and held his own because he was that powerful and capable, so with him still alive in the MCU, I would like to see those possibilities made manifest.
Ditto. Marvel lately has this habit of introducing Avengers level threats and nerfing them to make their intros seem important, but sticking them in nonAvengers movies to jump up just to get beat down. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Spidey vs Annihilus or Punisher vs Beyonder.
If those raccoon kits at the end of the movie were the same kits rocket was selected from at the start of the movie, why are they all still kits, and not grown raccoons?
Even though some of the actors said there done, I really do hope we can see them all one last time in secret wars. Then send them all off along with everyone else from other marvel movies cause it kinda seems like there heading to a MCU reset of some sort. Still hopin to see the Guardians again 🙏

Villain super forgettable, for people he does not even have a name, on the internet they call him "the bad guy" will end up in oblivion, the real focus of the film is the animals from beginning to end, the plot is extremely secondary in this film.
High evolutionary wasn't a strong villain. Atleast as far as how he's written in the movie. His villainous personality is defined by his big brains and he didn't even use that when fighting against the Gaurdians. He was acting very juvenile in most of his decisions.
He wasn't even as majestic as Ronan from gaurdians part 1 and Ronan was just a glorified Goon.
And here I was thinking whatever actually happened to the high evolutionary because they didn't show him die at the end of the movie. turns out for the first time the MCU chose not to kill off a villain and instead imprison them like how they usually are in the comics 😅

When Adam Warlock first appeared, he was just called Him. The High Evolutionary was the first to call him Warlock (or call Him?). He's not called Warlock until he meets some kids on Counter Earth.

Interestingly enough, an equally heavy German band, with an ass-kicking frontwoman (Doro Pesch) was called Warlock. Notable for a song called "All We Are", and a blistering cover of Procul Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale". They still record and perform.

I literally just got done with the movie and came here. It honestly was really good maybe too long, but besides that I was easily one of the best Marvel movies in the past few years if not ever.
