At first I was really not feeling him as AW and thought they made a huge mistake by casting him…but now I honestly think he may be my favorite character! He has a genuinely believable childlike innocence that is perfectly balanced out by his strength and I don’t think they could have chosen anyone better for this role!

Yeah you can tell if she'd survived their relationship probably would have gone south, but this early on he loved her as his mum so it felt so sad to watch him lose her (even if I the audience member knows she had it coming).

Like knowing Adam warlock from the comics, I was nervous about this change, but at the same time both Poulter and Gunn did not disappoint with the fact that we were witnessing someone who was learning Empathy in real time.
This is likely his first and last big appearance. I mean, by the end he’s in the same blue suit with bunch like he’s just another addition that we most likely won’t see again. They gaslit fans into thinking this was just the start but it’s almost definitely the start and the end LOL

Gunn found a good balance and both his MCU movies and the MCU as a whole are better for it.
Both are basically 'children' but Vision is an AI that has an access to the entire internet and Adam/HIM is probably only taught limited things by the Sovereign. So I'd imagine it's like a naive person who knows philosophy talking to an actual primary school kid who tries really hard to even grasp an abstract concept.They'd only agree on something that is clear & common,but that's all. But since Adam lives in a civilization that is more connected to others outside his planets,he has an advantage in knowledge of the cosmos (maybe even knows about legends of deities like Oblivion,Entropy,and Death) while Vision only have limited speculations.(Idk if his Mind stone helps in anything,maybe in possibilities too?)
I absolutely loved Will in The Revenant, he was spectacular in that movie. And even though I didn’t really think he was the right choice for AW at first, I was still pumped to see him in a Marvel movie…. But I couldn’t have been more wrong! He was the perfect choice for AW and it pretty much cemented him as a permanent top 3 pick of my all time favorite actors!

Better character arc than most characters get in their entire series.. Real people have dumb flaws, and improve slowly, but as long as they’re not literal psychopaths, probably notice their flaws pretty quickly.
I think his child-like tendencies is what makes Adam such a fun and entertainng character. Plus it doesn't hurt that I've enjoyed a good deal of Will Poulters' work
