I'm simple man, I see Alex Banzea video, I watch
This series is just beyond useful. Having most people just show you 10 moves and say " white should be slightly better" and leaving it there is beyond frustrating. I never know what to do in the resulting middlegames!
Yes bro , they say white is winning and at the end we just blunder becz they don't show full game to how to actually punish
37:15 “When he has Michael Schofield, you just go e4” lmao this has me dying
Just want to say you’ve helped me tremendously, Alex. Thank you for everything
🥰
I love it more than anything else when i see New Alex banzea video on Jobava London only
Most fun chess account on RUclips. I love the story telling, like a little mouse that has to find his way to the cheese.
thats funny haha
Alex's videos are always fun to watch! 😁
Like the way Alex shares his thought process with the games. Also nice to see complete games and alternative lines explained. Always helpful videos. Been trying to get Jobava down and these videos are a massive help.
Need more of this❤
Bro ur courses and vds are always the best for learning 🔥
Love the Excalibur knight! I often play that move but I don't support the knight the way I should. Thanks for explaining the role it plays there!
Years in the making, I've finally cracked 1500 rapid. Thanks Alex; your Caro Kann and London courses had a big impact and I'll pick up your Jobava London when it drops and any anti-e4 opening for black.
Thanks for the lessons.
Crazy how I was just learning this opening and Alex actually made this one day ago
My dad finally posted
Always great quality videos
Thank you Alex, always the best instructive content 🙏🙏
Great video! (Why bro is so excited that he's hyperventilating )🤣
Looking good, Alex!
My trash talk makes players go nuts, so I don't have to study openings as much. "Is that BOOK?" is my favorite when people hang their queen
Thank you for the video 🎉
As always it was an incredible video. Your explanations are really clear and simple and you're very funny. Please can you do a chessable course on the king's indian covering all the lines like the caro it'll be insane.
If Schofield gets out your knight turns into Agent Mahone from season 2 to hunt it down
Another dose of alex video
Hey @alexbanzea, I'm a simple man, and I just got my first Tartakower checkmate using your Queen, black bishop setup. I own both your London and Caro-Kann courses (with videos), and i'm following your guidance in approach for low rated players. Enjoying your chessable courses which really go nicely along with your youtube videos. Very good value and fun to work with. I like your focus on principles and the focus on lower rated games. I haven't looked at your Jovaba London yet. I feel I've still got a lot of work to do with London before switching to Jovaba London.
excellent
I'm a good boy, watching all videos of Alex Banzea. Thanks again!
More Vienna Game pls :) really like the jobava too
Alex plays the Jobava and destroys 1800s. I play the Jobava and I’m instantly paralysed after a simple pawn a6 😢
Hi Alex - just want to say thank you for everything
11:50 Bxg6 was winning
20:00 Bb5 was killing on the spot
Thanks!
will pay for the university of my future children with this, thanks a lot sir!
Hey Alex banzea put the 20th video in Jobava London playlist on the first place ... making it the first video in playlist
The last one was a bit abruptly ended, where analysis , and a kiss in the forehead))
How should we play Jobava against blacks Fiancetto white bishop (1... a6, 2... b6, 3... Bb7) and blacksquare bishop - our c3 knight exchange?
I find it as a very annoying and hard to play counterplay ;/
in game 1 after Nb5 what happens after their Qa5 check attacking the Knight?
And an other Jobava YT!!!
And as alway: plz finish the course!!!😜
"greek gifting his ass" omg Alex you had me laughing and choking on my drink. good chess content and a few laughs too. hi from Canada. Yes we girls are also watching your content.
no way! that would put you in the 2% haha
When chessable sale? Waiting to purchase the Caro Kann course
Alex will kick the crap out of anyone in this chat
Love the jobava videos. And the Vienna. And the caro. And the old scotch video. Quick question: you always say “d5 which allows us to do jobava”. Have you posted any videos about what opponent moves can make it so we cannot do jobava? And maybe what we should do when we can’t?
I've throwed in some games along the way vs 1...c5/1...e5 but I have a separate video incoming :P
Hey Alex! Great vid as always. Are you Andrea Botez’s coach? She’s been playing a lot better recently it seemed to me. Although I think she won most of her matches with black last tournament haha. Can’t wait for the Jobava course to come out! Hey I haven’t seen you make a video on when opponent try’s to refute the pawn storm by taking our G4 pawn with their knight. And after we take knight, they Queen H4. I’ve seen a few variations of this pawn storm refute at my lower 1200 elo. Do you see this attempt to refute pawn storm at the higher elo also? Thanks for everything!
In game 3, what do we do with our bishop if he had gone Nh4 before he did c4? His Nh5 is always annoying to me.
SENSEI!! You will be proud BEFORE YOU!!! 1250 ELO. AFTER YOU!!! 1679 ELO LI CHESS. Thank you Master.I hope I made you proud. LONDON RULES.!!!
Jomama London!
Hello just to say your awsome man...Great vidoes
Can't wait for the upcoming Jobava London course!!! Any updates on it? Will it be on Chessable??
I believe Alex has already said it will NOT be on chessable☹
@@regjones6071thanks for the reply. I thought I saw a comment on a video saying the same thing I just was hoping it wasn’t true lol 😅. That’s unfortunate! Did he mention where the course was gonna be offered? Does he have a website or something?
OG thumbnails are back? 😮
The analysis for the last game?
Hey Alex, do you have, or are you planning to release a Jobava London course? i have the one from Naroditsky but it's too complicated and for a much higher level than mine (1800-2000 elo online) i feel like your videos and plans are much simpler to learn and follow insthead of 25+ moves engine lines to remember just to be +0.4 against a GM...
+0.4 it’s a miracle these days haha! Yes I’ve been working on my course for almost two years now. You can sign up to my newsletter to not miss it alex-banzea.ck.page/0c22cd2d70
@@AlexBanzea Thank you! Can't wait to see it when it relises! Nut no pressure whatsoever, i'd wait another year for your usual quality and clearness of explaining! 💪💪💪
Cheers from Italy 🔥
Alex, when is your Jobava course coming out ? I find your explenations a bit more new player friendly than Hans Niemann.
just curious: do you use any ai enhancer for your voice? Ive noticed that the audio quality seems to have gotten worse compared to older videos, even though you are using the same mic. besides that great and instructive video as always!
2:29 What's the correct move after queen to A5 check after ex caliber horsy move?
just c3, key details that the knight is protected by the f1-bishop. we can just follow same like in the game even with the Qa5 inclusion, c3 is a useful move for us.
15:20 was funny lol
nice
I have your London System course and around 650 ELO.
When should I change to a Jobava London?
I recommend at 1000 elo rapid chess.com because below 1000 you can play safe and collect their blunders. The Jobava London is more attacking/loose which can be tricky for new players. So below 1000 I would just do the normal london and play solid, wait for mistakes and capitulize on them by focusing on the puzzle routine.
@@AlexBanzeaI found this out the hard way since I started as Jobava for my main opening for white. 😂
Great show. keep up the good work!
Lol I'm also from bangladesh.
Btw pls make videos on unconventional lines black plays against jobava e.g. weird hippo setups, etc.

Watching from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Man the end of video was not complete 😢
I still don't understand why Simon Williams said this is a low theory opening. Alex must be prepping 350+ lines for his Jobava course. Any news when the Jobava masterclass will be released? Or does Andrea Botez have to become 2000 FIDE rated first to prove the course works? 😂
On the bright side, I came up with a format that's literally blue print from 1000-1800 rapid elos, however it takes a bit of extra time to craft. It's not just a theory course, it will have around 100 model games, exercises, typical endgames and many more. All of this hopefully in a chill manner to not get overwhelmed. Funny thing, Andrea actually got a decent Jobava vs Boston Mike in their latest video haha
@@AlexBanzea What platform will it be released on? Will it be a Chessable course?
I'm curious but your English is so good that I wonder where you learnt. Did you spent years in an English speaking country or were you forced to speak English travelling for tournaments ?
Thanks for explaining, however ... ;-)
What? I can only like this video once?
Alex, i love ur videos
Ty for education and humor in my life
👍
8:51 - “en passant has to be played right away” ah right it’s forced 🙃
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😀
New hairstyle Alex ?
Nah just didn’t haircut in a while. I was trapped in my Jobava London cave
Great content as always!
But whyyyy no analysis on the endgame for the last game :( video cuts away just as you are about to get to the analysis, such a blunder by the editor
most people just quit the analysis from last game so I decided to skip it for the algorithm (p.s I am the editor lol)
during game 4, why not go 5. g4 or h4 ??
it's leading to complex games. I will have that line as an alternative for 2000 elo+, but for beginners I just stick with the universal development + e4 break. (also that's what I normally prefer in my games)
@@AlexBanzea Awesome, I'm definitely not 2000+ level but I've been studying the Jobava quite a bit and just want to continue to learn! Thanks for the response!! Will your upcoming Jobava London course be on Chessable??
alex, i miss the weird comparisons you always make with girls😂
Don’t wanna upset my therapist!
31:52 missed two chances to take the free bishop.
you sure? :P
@@AlexBanzea Well, just one chance, actually. You just made me double check and the engine confirms Rxa5 is the best move.
@@illuminaut Check again. He moved the Knight to attack the Rook, then he moved the Knight to fork the King & Rook, then he took the Rook with the Knight. Alex played all the correct moves.
@@baskeplaye009 Srsly? Just check it yourself, bro. The black rook was defended by the bishop on a5 so, as seen in the game, after the fork it was just a trade knight for rook, which is fine but not the best move. The bishop on a5 was hanging and he should have just taken it before the fork.
@@illuminaut That's fair. But keep in mind, even knowing this I would still trade the Rook for Knight. It leads to a much easier endgame for anyone. Stockfish is being accurate, and technically 3 points is better than 2 (Rook = 5 - Bishop = 3). But the most logical move would be to trade, since for us humans it's much easier to play that endgame. There's a reason why even an IM played that move.
Is it just me or the end of game 4 is missing?😮
he resigned so I made a cut...sorry just the youtube meta, most people close the analysis at the end :(
@@AlexBanzea oh ok. Those people are fools :) thank you for the video(s)!
@@asztapaszta9 I know, just in the previous video there was a genius exchange sac shown in the analysis but people just quit there 😆

I am here undercover to learn the ennemy's tactics. Don't you find it almost laughable that London players hate to face it as black ?
Yes, I strongly believe the London was invented for people with no soul. Now, on to unravel the devil's mind...
Do your worst, Alex ! I'm watching.
Notification ganggggg
Hi Alex. Your insta in your profile doesn't work. Found you though 😊 Thanks for all your work!
Edit: could you make a video about how you find plans in the midgame? Sometimes when opponents also follow you, it'll be interesting to see how decide:
1. Which side to go
2. What to focus on
3. When to maintain tension and when to break it
