I’m finding since I’m more visual that seeing Spanish words helps remembering the meaning when spoken and order of the words so I know which have the la or el or los in front. Then when I hear it, I remember the printed word. So new sentences I read both the English and Spanish and listen real close. So for instance la entrada seeing it, I’ll never forget to add the la instead of just entrada. So I see the word, hear the word and then can repeat it. I’m making progress because your introduction I understood listening and reading and didn’t need to read the translation. Gettin’ there!

That’s wonderful. And, yes, the more senses you involve, the better it is for your brain. If you ever have difficulty with a word or grammar and listening plus reading have not fully helped, you can add writing. I am planning on a video on tips for learning Spanish. Also, I’ll be publishing a video today. I hope you like it. And, thanks so much for watching/listening. Que tengas un lindo día!

Fantastic video! is Is there certain regions you're more likely to hear "tique" or "factura"? I'm curious since I've only ever heard of "recibo"

Hi Hailey, great question. Tique is used in Spain. Tiquete is used in parts of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador. Recibo is the standard and they should understand it pretty much anywhere. Factura = invoice but you may hear it out there as well, for example in some parts of Bolivia.

Thank you for the good lesson, but for me I prefer to hear English meaning at least once, because usely I learn Spanish when I’m cooking or before to sleep and I don’t have the screen in front of me.
