I use the option of slowing down the video that is available in youtube settings. x75 is perfectly fine for me and sounds quite natural. I would recommend that to anyone who (like me) is starting the journey of learning foreign language

Curioso! Aquí en el sur de Brasil también decimos "súper" para supermercado. Aunque hablamos portugués, tenemos una fuerte influencia de nuestros vecinos uruguayos y argentinos.
En España también decimos "súper" y el dicho "Bueno, bonito y barato".

Gracias, me gusto mucho este video! Una pregunta: dices: "voy a ver qué encuentro para Juan" pero puedes ser tambien: "...qué puedo encontrar para..." ? Qué es la diferencia?
@janvandeputte1405 I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly, but I will try my best to answer. In the first sentence, we use only one verb "encontrar," and we conjugate it properly, but in the second sentence, we have 2 verbs "poder" and "encontrar", and we conjugated "poder", but left "encontrar" in the infinitive form. This is because in spanish, there is a grammatical rule called "infinitive construction" or "infinitive clause." We use this rule when we have 2 verbs in one sentence AND the second verb depends on the first verb (both conditions must be met). So, in example: "Voy a ver qué puedo encontrar para Juan." Verb "encontrar" is dependent on verb "poder, " and it stays in infinitive.

"Se les voy a llevar." Paulina, podrías explicarme por que este "se" con que empezaste la frase?
Se=es el pronombre que se refiere a Juanjo. Se utiliza "se" en vez de "le" porque "le les" es cacofónico. Otro ejemplo podría ser "se lo digo", es decir, "le digo algo (a él)" ("le lo digo" suena fatal).
no es papel de baño, en Filipinas lo llamamos "kitchen towel" o paño de cocina

I like that it's much easier to follow, but at the same time I'm curious if it's better to listen to just normal speed because that's how people talk in real life
it builds a much needed base to nail down pronunciations, as well as understanding the natural flow of a sentence. Though I do agree, you should definitely use a form of both!

Not a very helpful video. Please put more thought into the kind of vocabulary and sentences that your students will need to know. Very few learners need to know how to shop for popcorn.
As opposed to what? Lots of text books seem to think apples are the most important food to know, but I eat more popcorn than apples, and also in more contexts, like movies.
I think everything they bought are things that I would put on a grocery list.
