I'm an old man of 68 and I humbly think these lyrics about the meek inheriting the earth has a spooky import but there's a silverlining of warning if mankind stop warmongering and play it right we then could, if not to late, have a peaceful playground on earth.
"Them!" was a 50s movie about giant ants. It ended in the storm drains beneath Los Angeles. The song references that.
I can't help but look at the name and think of Little Shop of Horrors.
I know it's about them, but I can't help thing of the zerg whenever I hear this...
