A big shout out to the locals that I was able to interact with. I can't stress how awesome this city and recommend all to come and visit when you have an opportunity.
I'm currently transitioning into plant-based eating and it is quite difficult to be a vegan in Colombia because their staples consist of meat, cheese and milk. However, there are plenty of restaurants that cater to vegetarians and vegans which are pricier but you could definitely request for similar meals that I ate without the meat or cheese.

yes, that is correct however that was taken in Guatape but there is a place called Sharbet that sells cinnamon rolls with icing on it.:)

Hi Juno, everything is open in Medellin except bars and gyms. You can order food but majority of the places you can't sit and dine but rather take away. International flights are expected to open up on the 1st of September but that can change. You should definitely make your way here, awesome weather, safe and friendly people. I'm from South Africa but my family is Filipino (correct) :)

Hahaha my mode of transport here is my bicycle. I cycle everywhere in Medellin. I'm also a fan of strong coffee ☕
