got a friend from Colombia... invited us to Cali for several days... it took us almost a month and eating everyday so good (both amount and taste) that I though I´ll gain some pounds. finally I lost 3 pounds!! incredible!
@@WyattandReyka I guess they have, not only very tasty but organic, fresh and well balanced food... it makes me wonder how bad our food in my country is...
Hi!! 👋 thanks so much for the nice message you are very sweet 🤗 We love San Diego!!! Amazing city. And Medellin was wooooooonderful. We can’t wait to go back!! Cheers friend and thanks for joining our little community 🥰🇨🇴
Many people say that we are the culinary England of America. Clearly, to know what is tasty and what is not, you have to come to the country to try it.
Mind you that they only tried Medellin food. In the south (like in Nariño) we have a whole other traditional plates that are awesome too, also in the sea areas. You should definitely go there and try some more.
I recommend u "Restaurante El viejo John" in Sabaneta. They have a huge menu of typical food. The taste is really good, also the amount and the prices.
Hi!! Yes definitely go eat at them they were alll soooo good 🥰 Here’s a list: Arepa las chachas Buñuelo Supreme La Matriarca Hacienda Origen Vegan and Veggie
The black sausage it's called Morcilla (in almost all Hispanic countries) but the colombian version it's stuffed with rice besides the blood, so when you said it has rice consistency, well, it's because it was rice haha
Saludosss 😊 You have a new subscriber!❤
@@WyattandReyka Well croquetas are primarily from Spain, however, I know some cultures like in Cuba they have it as a part of their cuisine but as a Colombian I can tell you that is something not typical. Empanadas yes...24/7

Hi! 👋🏻 lol yeah we expected them to only have that too but there was SO MUCH MORE! It honestly really surprised us! It’s crazy too cuz there’s a lot more food than that shown in this vlog! Only scratched the surface really. Cheers tho take care!!
If Colombian food is your favorite in the whole continent, you have the taste of a 5 yo peasant boy. Nothing wrong with it but Brazil, Perú and Mexico are way above Colombian food.
lol mexico has terrible food, starting with the greasy surprised tacos, and by surprised i mean the use dog meat, in Brazil they use beans for everything they do, Peru uses pidgeons and guinea pigs for some foods
You're in pain and it's showing. Knock out the passive aggressiveness and humble yourself. Colombia is within the Top Five Latin-American Countries with the best gastronomy along with the Countries you mentioned as well as Chile. I personally love Peruvian and Mexican food and I'd even vouch for Countries like El Salvador and Bolivia which also have phenomenal dishes, pastries and drinks. But having Colombia as your number one makes complete sense as their dishes vary from each corner of the Country and what I love the most about Colombian dishes is the minimal ingredients. Most people who enjoy Colombian food is because they have a clean and diverse palate not tainted by processed meals and sauces. I could easily make an argument that the one with the tastebuds of a five-year old is the one who uses trillions of ingredients and condiments in their dishes but I'm not exactly here to judge today. Peru is probably my favorite along with Colombia (I have them interchanging) and then Chile not too far behind along with Bolivia, Mexico and Nicaragua trailing them as my favorite Latin-American cuisines.

@@germancampos1498The food in Colombia is very organic, most of the products come directly from the farms
Colombia has one of the best food in the world ❤❤❤
Sooooo good!!!
a little advice guys, when you eat empanadas o pandeyuca do it white hot and fresh, once you store the in the fridge don't taste the same.
The same goes ESPECIALLY for buñuelos. You must eat them within a few minutes of being made. Nothing worse than cold buñuelos.
Oh man, good to know! Thanks for the tip! 🙏 🇨🇴
