Bogota es la capital fabuloso les guste la comida pues gastronomía variada por región es exquisita vayan a más partes después quedarán encantados saludos desde Bogota Colombia 🇨🇴 bienvenidos❤
As a Colombian I feel glad that you came and enjoyed the food, but just one annotation, we have like dozens of "arepas", you just tasted one of the only two that have zero flavour, and that's cause those are just to push the food, or to be a sort of plate, or to be eaten with another thing, if you ever come again, please taste more kinds of arepas, you will not regret it
Whoever told you that ajiaco comes from the coast lied to you, most sources indicates that originated in the central part of Colombia by the muiscas, with the arrival of the spaniards, ingredients such as carpers, chicken and milk were added, there's another dish called ajiaco that is from cuba but uses different ingredients and has a different type of origin.
Yay! Love a good food tour and how fun is trying all of the fruit?! I think Tommy ate granadilla everyday we were in Colombia 😂 So many great shots in this vid 💞
We have seen A Chef’s Tour videos in Delhi, Kolkata, and now Bogota and they seem great! Totally agree about the DRY arepas. The two best places we found for stuffed arepas were La Maízalera in Rionegro and Mundo Arepa de Maíz in Doradal. And the yellow bottle that accompanies the arepas is not mustard, it is a very delicious pineapple sauce. Great video! We love certain parts of Colombia and can’t wait to see more!
A Chef’s Tour was so great! We’d love to do one elsewhere one day 😄 And glad we’re not alone on the dry arepas… but yes stuffed arepas are much better!
Yay. I don’t think people realize how different the food in the Americas is from place to place. I can’t say Colombian is my favorite (hard to beat Mexican and Peruvian), but food tours too are such a great way to explore a place. It looked like a great day!
Love this. I was born there and I cannot eat arepas made of white corn. When you were eating the arequipe, I was shouting out "you need water with that". Tamal is life! The bones add flavour. The cheese adds a tiny bit of salt which also elevates the flavour of the hot chocolate. I'm hungry now. I miss the fruits
I liked the video on the typical foods of Colombia. I especially liked the segment on Colombian coffee, which is hard to beat. The Colombian instant coffee is smooth! Did Dona Ester tell you how she made her Chicha? Chicha is made by the indigenous people by chewing the yucca root and spitting the juice and saliva in a bowl. Enzymes with the saliva ferments the Chicha. Did Andreas tell you the story about how Chicha was made? Better to be safe than sorry!
@@EricandSarah Chicha that's produced commercially is fermented differently than the traditional method for obvious reasons, but the drink from Doña Ester most definitely had her saliva in it. She even had a twinkle in her eye as you drank it, because she knew what you didn't know.
That is not true... I am Colombian and never heard what you are affirming... such a misleading comment... chicha is just fermented corn... that it... please if you are not sure if something , search before making untruthful comments...
@@luzecheverri9161 My Spanish tutor who lives in Colombia told me this fact, and then I did a simple google search. The history of Colombian food was our lesson that day. Just because you live there, and never heard of this doesnt mean anything. Lots of people dont know their own country's history if it was never taught, or they never bothered to look it up. You need to do your research. I already did. I never post something without knowing the facts first.
Nice food tour !! Andreas seem to be a nice guy !! (but I think the fruit tour would have need a bit more of instructions before Eric & Sarah jump in !!) :)
Loved the video and very positive. Had fun and laughed along the way.. i like your presentation..i. a new yotube creator. My videos are still very raw but i like your filmography, realism, and down to earth style. Definitely suscribing

I know right?? It was so much fun and the fruite was delicious! Thanks for watching, friends 🙂
@@EricandSarah remember. maracuya and curuba are only for juice, of course you can eat them as they are.

Colombia beautiful country but bland food.
@MSanz-jc2bg excuse me? maybe you just were in the wrong place, Colombia is not just Bogotá and other regions have better food than them

Yes Colombian coffee is sooo good 🤤 And no we didn’t know that’s traditionally how Chicha was made. So interesting!

Lol , so funny food for the brain 😂
La lechona NO lleva arroz😭😭😭😭😭
lastima el guía que se consiguieron, no sabe donde esta parado. no tiene conocimiento como dice.
LOL, zero respect for the 'melted cheese' in your hot chocolate. That isn't how it should ever look when you try eating it.
