Agree! Niod and other copper peptides with Retinoids are fine! It’s the 1st generation copper peptides that are the most finiky
Yes! The new copper peptides don't have copper complexed into them!
Got my pre-ordered 2 essences. They are awesome! Better than I expected. Sorry to hear they're limited edition; please consider producing them long-term! I would definitely reorder after these two are done. And yes, only need 2-3 drops for face/neck. At first, I poured out a bunch, and ended up putting the rest on my hands/chest. The glide/slip is gorgeous. Face is so happy here in cold Minnesota.
Wishtrend item sounds similar to Paula's Choice retinol/bakuchiol. I like that PC clarifies it's 2% bakuchiol, which is important since other bakuchiol products list it near the end of ingredients list, which means very low potency.

I love your videos so much they are always so informative. Would there ever be a possibility of an updated well-aging pregnancy safe routine/recommendations? There are a lot of ingredients that are included in these products that are not pregnancy safe and would love to have some alternatives. 💕

It’s always so nice to see your videos in my feed. Are you able to finish all of the products that you love or do you sometimes have to get rid of them because they have been open for too long? I also wanted to suggest a foot skincare regimen video, if you have any wisdom to share. Keeping foot skin and nails in good condition gets to be more challenging as I get older.
So first off I got the essence in the 2nd batch I think, and it’s so good. The texture!!! I’m just in my bathroom doing the chefs kiss at the air lol And my often annoyingly sensitive skin is happy with it, and it folds like 3 steps I was previously doing into one. Which means I can add some new steps! Anyway, it’s not surprising, but you make great skin care!! Very interested in that cream as I always balked at the medicate prices hehe so thanks for the tip ;)

Hi from Hong Kong. I have been looking for something which can replace my favourite Biophile serum since the company has stopped running and luckily I have found your essence. It is phenomenal and I have fallen in love with it. I bought 2 bottles simply because of you. I started watching the videos in your channel 2 years ago and you are amazing in many ways. A very affordable moisturizer that has that same light but grippy feel is Aveeno’s Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream. It is slightly occlusive but not greasy in the least, and I don’t feel like there is a coating on my face.

Love your expertise and how you so simply articulate the what why and how. I’m surprised to hear we can mix tret with copper peptides- everything I read says the opposite, that tret can cancel out the copper. That’s not true? Is the reason for that guidance simply due to irritation? Thank you

I had used CAIS 3 in the same routine as Azelic acid (Fineacea) and it has been the only product to ball up the Azelic acid. I don't use them together anymore.

There is no squalene in Paula's Choice moisturizer but there is sunflower oil.
How does the Niod serum compare to Skinceuticals Vitamin C formula?
HeY!:)) I was just thinking to include toners and first essences in my routine as a good preparatory step to even make other serums to absorb better ( I watched a video that first essences that are fermented make the products absorb better), also saw your videos about essences, but now I see that you dont apply first essences in neither your AM nor PM routine, same with toners? I wonder do they help or do they prevent other serums to absrob if applied after cleansing before the serums? If they prevent, how to appky them later if they are in the lighter texture than serums? How to incorporate them so that they would not prevent my actives from absorbing? Maybe better to use not the first essence but something thicker and use it after serums?
How long did you use the lash serum before seeing results?

Renee, love the essence, but UPS charged me a $35 processing fee on delivery with $13 in taxes. That's an additional $50 on delivery......I'm in Canada - is there no way the retailer can duties paid online? This left a pretty bad taste for me

Thank u for the video! Question, when is best time to use facial oil (rose hip seed) if it tends to weaken efficacy of sunscreen and if I use tret every night.
I apply oils at night after nighttime skincare has completely absorbed.

You can always alternate one night tret and the next night oil. Sadly, that's what I've had to do to incorporate other actives.

Hi! New subscriber here.. Hope you can also try out Naturekind Super Barrier Cream. It has 5% urea, ceramides, panthenol and other amazing ingredients. Tried a LOT, and this has become my holy grail! 💞
I tried to love the wishtrend but it pilled so badly on me 😢
My skin is too sensitive for harsh ingredients like retinoids/tretinion/vitc/salicylic. Would peptides serum be suitable for a sensitive, dehydrated combination acne prone skin? Niod is better than Ordinary or Biossance? Please guide
If you're not able to use retinoids, vitamin C or salicylic, then there is a strong probability that you wouldn't be able to use the Niod CAIS3 serum. (Niod is Deciem's premium skin care line.) I have sensitive skin, and I can't use it every night. It is quite potent. (If you did want to try it, Deciem does offer a money back guarantee on all their products if it doesn't work for you.) On another note.....Have you tried the Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid exfoliant? I find it to be very gentle and very effective. It's one of my favourite products. If you find the Lactic Acid too strong, then consider trying the Ordinary Mandelic Acid exfoliant.
Would love to know which tubing mascaras you like! I prefer them as well because of sensitive eyes.

The L'Oreal double extension is a staple but my favourite is Kevyn Aucoin The Mascara!
The sales associate at my local Niod store told me that using any retinol product with the CAIS does in fact decrease the efficacy of the copper peptide...so confused...
Interesting, if it helps, the person who confirmed to me CAIS did NOT affect retinoids but could possibly be sensitizing when used together is the Chief Scientific Officer of Deciem. They even took Retinoids off the website as a possible conflict as it was more of a cautious take rather than because they contraindicate!
I have The Ordinary peptides and copper serum, just purchased it. Is there a big difference?
since I started using the CAIS first, it's difficult for anything else to live up to it but other than CAIS, I would rec the Ordinary Buffet + copper over any other formula I've tried!

Hi. Just to be clear, use CAIL after essence since it’s thicker.
She talked about CAIS which is different than CAIL. Both copper peptide products but totally different textures.
