It’s still great that bnsf still uses them and some keep their original AT&SF name and paint scheme or some have the bnsf on them but sometimes keep the old paint schemes
Great video of Santa Fe war bonnet locomotives I honestly wish there Were more of them and Texas the only time I saw one on the point I was on the Grand Canyon railway in Williams Arizona back in 2001 engine 18 just whistled the 5 minute warning and then I hear a horn the sound of a Leslie RS3L horn and a Eastbound BNSF train roared through town with a Santa Fe war bonnet on the point That was one of the only times I've seen a Santa Fe war bonnet it's a shame they're becoming more scarce
