I’m a teen athlete- nothing super exceptional with my times, I’m fast for my small school but we’re D2. You guys really inspire me to push further and encourage the mentality that maybe I could improve my time or qualify for state. Season is about to start and hoping for a 2 second PR this year!
I’m so glad you have each other ❤🎉❤. I think most of us equate elite athletics as a combination of talent + hard work (sacrifice), but don’t forget joy. Joy is that special vitamin that invigorates our soul and amplifies our humanity. Make sure you’re getting enough joy. Add it to your training regimen. Find your people.
