I’m not American, I don’t follow the olympics/paralympics but I saw clips of Tara winning gold yesterday & Hunters reaction (that’s my little boys name too). And this video of their wedding popped up & now I’m crying 😢. Everything about this is beautiful. Their connection, the reactions of their family & friends, the venue, her dress 😍, their amazing vows & of course their adorable dogs (im obsessed with dogs). This couple has brought so much joy to a dark world. Thank God for the Olympics or I never would have known them. I learned about Tara first as a Long Jumper and got to know her in a Maria Taylor video at a perfumery in Paris. Her personality was so infectious. Then, during the long jump competition, I got to “meet” her husband Hunter as he was very much a part of her story. Little did I know that I would fall in love with both of them individually AND as a couple. It was only after this, I learned that Hunter was competing in the Paralympics and I was thrilled. The fact that they both won Gold in their events just speaks volumes about who they are as a couple. They are not only elite athletes, but a dedicated & loving married couple who both appear to be so kind and positive with their outlook on life. We really needed this couple to emerge during both of the glorious Olympic Games. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Thank you for inspiring us. But, mostly, thank you for giving us hope. You have no idea how much you mean to so many of us. May God Continue to Bless You Both. ❤
