What a fun different vibe! Did I think I needed another pavlova demo in my life? No. Am I glad I watched? Yes.
The music was a choice, but so was me finishing the pint of ice cream while watching, so none of us are perfect.
Haha "the music was a choice" is too kind. Glad you enjoyed it!!
Her voice is sooo relaxing. I didn't even notice the music until I read the comments. I didn't mind it.
wow so excited for this series!
Wouldn't it help to freeze the chocolate before you grate it?
By the way, this format is really refreshing. Please do more in the future.
Probably wouldnt hurt, it might take longer to grate though
I did try it with the chocolate chilled and it kept slipping off the grater. User error maybe? I also got longer shreds of chocolate when it was room temperature
I see myself using my little electric chopper haha... She is so patient doing everything by hand! 😊
Maybe frozen then in a spice grinder?
What a great video! Absolutely stunning with a really fun commentary from Magda. Love it!
Looks fantastic chef!
Love this.
Absolutely Perfect! It looks like Dairy milk, it is really delicious on sweet dessert
Thank you for sharing your recipe
Wow, love this new series!
This series is EVERYTHING! Beautiful to watch, informative, and relaxing. Thanks, Magda!
And loved the music too!
So did I!
Soothing prep, very nice!
I love this! Such a fun vibe.
This looks gorgeous! I love the whole vibe.
can't wait for more, loved this!!
Yum! I've always wanted to make a pavlova but never have. This might be the one! I appreciate the very detailed instructions!
Just a thought for this great video, also give your weights in grams, there are some of us who actually function in that measurement system.
It's not that hard to shout at Alexa for a conversion.
@@wright96d slightly unrelated but I also live in a country where we use the metric system. I have an ATK web subscription and it does get kind of tedious when I have to convert units of measurement everytime. Wish their website had a converter similar to most cooking blogs.
@@wright96d Well, one first has to have some type of smart device like this, which I do, but if the metric numbers are in the recipe then you do not have to do this, also most of the world is in metric so why should they have to convert from the arcane system we cling to here in the US. Further metric is much more accurate then oz. and pounds.
@@rninrvr To put it simply, it's in the name.
@@mrlapageisyourman I use a conversion table published by King Arthur Flour here www.kingarthurbaking.com/learn/ingredient-weight-chart it has just bout everything you could want. I agree though, recipes should have metric measurements.
Great looking pavlova ! It's the first time I have seen egg whites and sugar being dissolved over heat. Shall definitely try this lab. Thank you !
Why the dislik? Shes great we need more from her :)
If I want to make this a vanilla pavlova, do I just exclude the chocolate? Or do I need to add more vanilla extract or vanilla bean?
Maybe you could just leave out the chocolate? But the baking time and temp might be different. Probably best to find a vanilla pavlova recipe instead of trying to tweak this one. Hope that helps!
Crumple up your parchment paper a little bit & then smooth it back out and it'll lay down & quit curling...
Is it called "pavlov(a)" because it makes your mouth water?🤣 😋
Good channel 🤗🤗
What is the best cake stand to buy?
I got mine from Target! But if you'd like a revolving cake stand, Winco makes a great one :)
Thank you so much. 🌺
Will this recipe still work for me if I dont have any sliced bread?
I didn't have sliced bread and it worked for me!

This looks like a wonderful recipe but I almost couldn’t make it to the end with the weird dissonant music. Was that on purpose? ATK is my go to for great recipes and reviews
I like the dessert. Happy to watch
So why couldn't you sprinkle the grated chocolate in while it was beating, at the very end of the process?
I just did what the recipe says, but maybe folding it in at the end helps keep it fluffy? I wonder if beating it in would cause it to deflate?
@@magdalenabresson8308 But you're already beating in the vinegar...which doesn't cause it to deflate. (I know it's a stabilizer), I'm just thinking of an easier hack, over the shoulder aching sticky folding.
@@nannettethornton2461 That's a good point. And you're right, it was a bit shoulder aching.
@@magdalenabresson8308 So...which one of us is going to try it 1st? ;-)
I agree the music is a bit much...the videography is excellent though. It is cute it reminds me of how my little brother tries to cook when I teach him. Everyone is a bit of a klutz at the beginning of their cooking journey.
What don't you like about the music? I thought it gave this a quirky youthful, if not hipster vibe... what am I missing
absolutely yummy and delicious chocolate 🍫
Total loved it
Why do you add white vinegar to the Pavlova?
It helps to make the center of pavlova creamy and luscious just like nougat
Thanks. Interesting!
@@cherbeatTX59 welcome
I'm Australian. We make pavlova all the time. It's a staple dessert. I don't go to all this trouble as we have many short cuts. We rarely use chocolate. And we tend to pile it up in a big mountain and then it fall where it will. You can tap the top of the pavlova when it comes out of the oven, to break up the meringue a little and then smother with cream. Traditionally we add strawberries and kiwi fruit. The vinegar basically causes the marshmallow effect.
@@celebrantsue5910 yes exactly 💯
What's with the music? It's mixed really loud and it's really repetitive.
It's graphite in the pencil. Not lead.
Music too loud and annoying but fun to watch but I do miss seeing faces.
Same comments as many others. I love what you made, I like the video work, but the music is HORRIBLE. Was it designed to turn everyone into a serial killer? Anyway, keep up the good work, loose the bad, loud music (and good luck with the new series)
Death by Pavlova lol. Noted and thanks!!
Music is killing me! I like the style of tutorial, but all that time putting berries together, as with several other superfluous parts, means I might not take the time to watch this teacher again. I'd invest half the time as long as the repetitive music is discarded. It's a beautiful pavlova!
Nice format but this videos is too long
this music is terrible
everything else is great though
Did not like this format. And the music wants to make me scream.
I prefer seeing a face.
I like the subject, but the music is just too much. Just like a buzzfeed video ;((((
Why???? It is so gross to watch someone seperate eggs with their hand. Why are you not using the shell??
This video is enough to make me want to unsubscribe... Butchering a New Zealand classic with VINEGAR, wtf. The music... AHHHHH. If this is gonna be the format of this channel I'm out.
@@sandrah7512 Thanks so much for that! I'm still learning!
