i grew up watching Nigella on TLC. almost every day i use to sit with my mother and sister, and just used to adore her cooking. now whenever i cook i can feel and see the influence. those were the good days.

I have watched Nigella's videos and it is always a treat to watch and listen to her. I also like it when she says in videos that this is home cooking and its not meant to look like conveyor belt cooking.
As some one said. She probably already was. Doesn't take look to be a millionaire...having established herself on various food network TV shows around the world, books that sell well...RUclips and other social media is just "extra"...add, maybe becoming a millionaire wasn't her goal. Seems the people who DO make $ their goal don't make it. She could have also done some modelling. But cooking was and probably still is her thing.
I've made this several times and it is delicious but she didn't mention that after it bakes you need to leave it in the oven for about an hour with the door open slightly. I forgot to do this once and it didn't taste as good as usual. People are usually surprised at how good it tastes.
I totally adore Two Fat Ladies and Julia Child but Nigella is my true heroine for her unapologetically wonderful cooking and admitting her love of food.
Back in 2009 i guess, when I was 15, watching tlc food network and this lady here introduced me with meringue and pavlova. Thanks nigela. And my favorite is when she opened the refrigerator at the end of the show to have some treats before going to bed (so do I)
totally agree that Lindt is best affordable chocolate for baking. Some of it's made in Switzerland, but lots now made in France or in Germany. All excellent, like Lindt "Excellence"
When I'm making a pavlova, I mix in two thirds of the sugar and then fold in the last third by hand. I always thought that is what made the outside shell crisp and the inside marshmallowy. I didn't realise it was the vinegar. Also: Before you put the paper on the baking tray, take the plate you're going to put the pavlova on and trace around it with a pencil onto the paper. You can use that as a guide so that your pavlova won't end up too big for your plate.

I just found this channel today. So good! I love the winks and flirty feel. At the end after she cuts a piece; the look she gives the camera. Made me LOL.
Hi Nigella, I do love the way you make your recipes look so easy. I have been watching the Chocolate Pavlova with Raspberries and I was hoping to find out what cookbook I could get more of your delicious desserts. I love making pastry and should weigh 130kg but still only around 51kg. Not as beautiful as you but my grandsons don’t seem to mind, I have 5 of them.👦🏼👦🏼👦🏼👶👶👵 I have them all to myself except the youngest who lives across the country in Mississippi. Anyway, I also love your Lamb dinners. I simply adore Lamb Shoulder and Leg of Lamb but only my daughter and I partake in the taste. It’s quite expensive for two people and a lot of food as well. Thank goodness for the freezer. Cheers, Jill

I've been making this pav of nigella's for many years and it's a wow its really delicious and turns out amazing every time. I've actually made it with full fat greek yogurt instead of the double cream slightly healthier version and tastes delicious 😋
I haven't made this one yet but made her lemon pavlova and It was a huge hit! I you have a lemon lover in your family, you must make them this and it serves about 12 people so is great for a celebration.

Nigellas words of the vid: Serenely and confidently
it was too much dude
She didn't look so "serene" to me.
Not to mention mound pleasurably and slowly. *wink wink* from Nigella 😉😏

“Pleasurably.....slowly.....😌😌😌😌😌😌”
She's a mess. She knows exactly what she's doing.
2 beautiful creations combined in this video... Nigella and Pavlova
Apart from cooking she should do podcasts, audiobooks and voiceovers for English language courses. She'd be a millionaire.
She already is!

She should be using Whittaker’s. A NZ chocolate for a NZ dessert, especially she was a spokeswoman for them.
I have a passion for food. Which is why I watch Nigellas videos. Food is good for the soul.
