😊 Thank you for the explanation on this ... 🙏 ... Over time, I actually figured it out ... 😆... Just through conversations ... While the verbal response was not accurate ... The intention behind the response became obvious ... 😊😊
Other languages do the same thing also, portguese for example responses with the verb to a yes or no question but conjugated to the speakers point of view.
I tried to rewind it again after I understood why she responds so funny but I guessed all answers wrong lol I’d always repeat a wrong word. She’d say do you want to eat etc and I’d say eat instead of want lol how do I know which word to repeat?
The first two examples in Vietnamese sounds like the sounds you would make to tell someone off when they are annoying you, in my Native language and even the tone sounds same 🙂.
Dw, mate. Having spoken Vietnamese for 10+ years, I can confirm they sound just fine (unless you’re speaking to an elder person - you’d wanna add “dạ” before the verb/adj then.)

I love LVWA I listen daily! Mình thích 👍
i always have to say “dạ” before i respond something
That shows respect to the other person, especially when they’re older than you.
same
The English comparison helps a lot! :D
I always remember doing this when I was younger
As a Vietnamese, I just say yes to all these or "dạ vâng" but maybe we are from different parts of Vietnam lol😅
well of course you can just say yes, both are correct
This is great, I love the English comparisons :)
Yessss so helpful to understand
Haha i like video learning's Vietnamese 🤣🤣
Hello I am from Vietnamese

This is gold! I think my girlfriend is adorable whenever she answers this way. I never knew why she did it this. Thanks!
brazilian portuguese does this as well!
Hi Annie. What a beautiful video. GREAT acting and what a CUTE way of answering yes/no questions when the answer is affirmative.
謝謝老師教學
I never realized how unnatural it sounds in English. Even though my first language is Vietnamese these shorts are still so educational! Thank you!
Annie I just want to say these short videos has been very helpful for me thank you!
The little hat is cute lol

😂😂 this is so cute lol
I was thinking the same ❤😂
They do something very similar in Finnish. If you ask, "Do I get to go?" in Finnish, the answer would be "You get," just as an example.
Sheesh, I'm Finnish, and I didn't realise that 😂
Outstanding content. Fabulous idea! 👏👏👏
its the same in irish language!
vâng, có, ạ, được, ok
we use that :))))

i'd just say vâng and hope people can understand me
I like to listen to these even though I have no idea what it means. The vietnamese language is intriguing to me
it’s the same in brazilian portuguese.
So Singlish with a Vietnamese accent 😂
In Thai we also say like this.
because Vietnamese and Thai are similar. they are of the same family of languages.
Yeah it might be different in Word Pattern and stressed
But in pronunciation and spelling somehow it's similar
In Chinese we do the same.
… big hug ! 🍀
I am still ok to marry you 🔥 ... em bé đã ly hôn chưa ? 🫣🫠🤣🚀
Cam on :)
I'm việtnamese

I'm also the news but it doesn't really make sense because now I'm Canadian so hmmm...
It's like Chinese
Tiếng việt siêu dễ hiểu
Bạn nhớ là đọc "muốn" chứ không phải "muống" nên phát âm tiếng việt chuẩn hơn nhá =))
Đó là vì bạn không thừa nhận tiếng Việt giọng Nam là "chuẩn Việt" thôi
@@gaiquan thì liên quan j đâu, ko lẽ miền trung với miền bắc ko phải tiếng việt à
