Been hitting with this lately and I love it! I would class my self intermediate also but I’ve got quite a bit of strength but it gave me no issues and it felt great for me!
C’mon, you don’t expect better from Harry. He’s more concerned with dreaming up some weird nickname for the racquet than paying attention to its correct name.
I picked up a Yonex percept 97. Added weight to the grip and top of the head of the racket. The added weight puts it at 351 grams but because it is on the head light side it does not feel heavy. I had a babolat rafa orgin and it was lighter at 346 but it felt way heavier because it was so head heavy. Man I am loving this racket.
I tried a percept 97 and felt exactly like you said. The major problem for me was that this light head does not give me much stabilty when I am being attacked. I could customized it like you said , but the racquet already has 310 grams , so it will become to chunky and difficult to maneuver for me
I'm using the Yonex VCore Pro 97H. Hope you do a review of the Precept 97H and compare with the VCore Pro 97H version, 'cuz right now, I feel the racket is already perfect. I just love it. I doubt if it can be made better. Using Yonex PolyTour Pro 17g at 47 pounds.
I restarted tennis 3 years ago and enjoyed the VCore Pro as I needed control to keep ball in the court. Now I feel like I’m ready for more power. Will Precept give me this or should I more further to VCore?
I was playing with the Head Gravity MP (2021) lately, and I fell exactly what you described for this Yonex Precept. I hit well, moves fast through but it is like you are not hitting anything. It lacks of that impact feedback, not easy to describe, from your review on the Yonex I've got something similar not easy to describe.
I’ve also been using the Gravity lately, switching over from the Aero. However I just purchased the Yonex 97 and love it. It will replace my Gravity as my main racquet.

You guys have the name of the racquet line wrong in the title and description! Percept, not Precept :)
Harry is dyslexic 😂
It’s the same thing
This channel is clueless when it comes to equipment....
@@svlagonda7417 , so you come here for...

Just ordered two of them. Great racket.
The color reminds me of my old Rossignol F-240 I used to have in high school.

Thanks Coach Rob, Gu, Chris & Chief Coach Harry for the racket review!
in coach gu we trust
More percept please. 100d especially!
It’d be nice to hear your verdict in the 18x20 version

How much tension do you recommend for Percept 97?

How about percept 100 ?

percept is the same as vcore pro, maybe try out the ezone 98

so it will replace Vcore pro in future?
Is the weight strung or unstrung
Add 5g at 3&9 and it turn in to a god tier stick
How about some lead precut that comes with the racquet?
🤓
if/when yonex bumps up the swingweight on this, I will get it. Not paying 300$ for a handle
Pros play with it yet it's a junior racquet, please.
Junior using 97? It has to be very good level junior
Yonex change their models way too often.
just a new name. same model. their naming system was terrible
Horrible racket... Almost no plow and horrendous sweet spot.
Another giant artificial racket and strings.

Dear Harry! That brand's name sounds French, would be pronounced Geh-OH and not "go" :-)))))
It is pronounced "Go" but your are correct that the proper soft g French Canadien pronunciation of the "g" in my last name - Pageau.
This lacks mass and stability. Also looks terrible.
you have poor taste
