"Rain, Sand, Sun & Snow, these all existed in a harmonious balance and we were taught all ways of weather could be viable, but that all changed when the Sun Teams became broken." This was 100% the direction I thought the intro was taking XD
I made a singles OU team for each element and have been having fun with them. Snow got boosted nicely this gen which is awesome. Favorite has to be sun, with my team of Torkoal, Charizard, Walking Wake, Roaring, Great Tusk and Hatterene, this team slaps
I know this video is over a year ago, but I just wanted to say it was really helpful for better understanding the base concepts of these team types. I've played a lot of Pokemon, but I wouldn't consider myself competitive level yet, so I appreciate videos like this :)
I ran a fun rain team as my first real doubles team, it was a blast. Floatzle might not be as bulky but it was hilarious watching it hit into resistances & take the ko anyways.
yea its such a demon especially in s1, it's crazy to see that the mon just is power crept rn because even with rain the 115 speed feels slow because a lot of stuff like Moon and Flutter run Booster Speed on Tailwind teams asw
Would love a video on the terrains, too! All we really see in SV is psychic terrain, so would love to hear your thoughts on the viability of others with the Home update.
Ok you got a really good giggle out of me with the intro for this. And also I love weather gimmicks without being a hard weather team (I've done multiple multiweather drafts for example)
I used to play competetive in the Oras Era and as soon as i heard that they are using more like competetive teams in the dlcs i decided to create my own sun team. I dont think its perfect but i destroyed everything with this. Torkoal, Walking Wake, Iron Wing, Scovillain, Gliscor, Metagross Tell me what do you think
Seems kinds suboptimal but also fun and I see the vision, using a lando-t over gluscor and ogerpon-hf over scovillain males this exponentially scarier if you wanna keep the same gist, you could also replace either the scovillain or moth with Flutter Mane that'd go super hard here
