I bought one three weeks ago. Best bike ever. Mine already had the LED. Quick shifter down works best with throttle off and quick shift up smoothest over 4k. Great video.
Me too. I bought one 2 1/2 weeks ago. Triple Black fully loaded GS Adventure with BMW brand black aluminum cases. Now that yours is nine months old, how are you liking it?
I waited 1 year to see the 1300 GS in order to make my final decision. After seeing it, I despise the look and went a put a deposit on the absoulute last 2023 1250 GSA TROPHY in my country. I prefer the 1250 by far and for me the dfifference in performance can't be that big.
Picked up my Rallye GSA last week. Best bike on the planet. Mine came with the adaptive LED headlight! My local dealer always has a loaner - he tossed me the keys when I was looking around, didn’t have to book☺️
I have the '23 Trophy GS, as you mentioned , the bike came w halogen. 5 mths in & my bike was the 1st to get the retro Adaptive LED @ my dealer. Awesome upgrade, worth the total $580- upgrade. (Yes, they took $500-off when purchased bike). Fun Swiss army knife motorcycle.......nimble, fast, gr8 ride quality!
Can you provide any additional information on the upgrade kit from BMW? My dealership can’t find a definitive answer from BMWNA for this upgrade pathway. If you have a part number, proper name, additional cost info, etc. - maybe from your shop receipt - that would be very helpful for me and others. My dealership says they have several people after this information, too.
Great video 👍 I went to buy a 1300 but the GSA won't be in showrooms until 2025,so I had a test ride on 1250 GSA,loved it,so I bought a new triple black with all the bells and whistles, it's a brilliant bike, I'm 6ft 4 aswell and it's so comfortable for me, I find the quick shift works well if you slightly ease off the throttle on up shifts and you got to fully close the throttle on down shifts👍 I'm looking forward to seeing the 1300 GSA when it comes out too💯
11:06 Thats not how you do a quick shifter downshift. You’re supposed to completely roll off the throttle before positively downshifting. Just a minor detail.
Great review I had a ‘2023 Rallye delivered back in October -it’s a great bike indeed. Just a note- do you guys not get the emergency button on the right hand switchgear?
Any bike will have problems if you abuse it , I had a 1200 lc for five years and not a single thing wrong after 30000 miles and now just got a brand new trophy . My friend has done 38000 miles in 3 years on his 1250 and even crashed it and still not a single thing wrong with it , picked it up and not a mark on it and it still looks and runs like new , don’t believe people who like to rubbish these bikes , most of them have never had one
I’ll guess I’ll find out! When you have 5 year warranty, 3 years roadside assist, and loan bikes, it’s a pretty good safety net. For BMW to offer that, and if bikes kept breaking, they’d go broke. It’s the ones which do break, that the owners complain the loudest. A bit like KTM owners- but KTM owners don’t get the same back up.

For me, it was the price. The new 1300 is more expensive for a similar spec

I have a 2019 GSA and couldn't believe how much smoother it was than the 1200. Love my bike. And the power delivery - wow.
Thankyou. Finally someone my height. Great video, mite go and buy one now 👍🏼🙏🏼
Glad I could help!

Awesome!
I have the ‘23 GSA w/halogen headlight. Biggest bummer on the bike for sure. I’ll have to look into the upgrade because I despise the halogen light.

Beautiful bike thinking about pulling the trigger.....
Thanks for the great video 👍 38 inch inseam….wow a GSA is perfect bike for you.
It sure is!
I ride mine - I have a 32 inch inseam- maybe because I’m used to riding tall bikes!

The 12V near the seat release is DIN.
How expensive is the bike?
$25k ish USD
Just paid 25k for pretty much the same bike. Only difference on mine is the mirrors and I have an led headlight
When was this video taken?
May 23
Seeing people selling more of these than usual do to the 1300. People always must have the 'latest thing' to keep up with the Joneses.
Is it true that these BMW motorcycles have a ton of problems and stay in the shop?

BMW been making the GSA for 40 years, the bike has evolved into the 1250 GSA, they're probably one of the most reliable bikes, well proven 💯👍
