Great video review thank you. Sadly with so many other printers bring out truly new innovations to the market it's a shame elegoo are falling further and further behind with their latest releases. When will the following be standard- Flex build plate (huge point) Heated tank (huge point) Built in purifier Auto refill vat Front power switch Front usb port (huge point) And it be nice to see a wider build plate as well. It also be nice to see the tank walls be higher to catch the drips and the build plate to stop lower. But at least they finally included a real leveling sheet after all these years.
For some reason I can’t get the model to print/ stick on the plate. Whenever I’m trying to print and I check up on it nothing is there. And I did everything like the video. Is there something I can do to fix this?
I am a little confused. I just purchased saturn 2 for $399 few days ago then I found out elegoo updated all of their printers. I had zero idea saturn 3 is out for same price as saturn 2 at $399. This is my 1st printer and I definitely would not have purchased a old version over this new version which is the same price as version 2. Do you think the upgrade is worth for me to return the version 2?
@@rickstard73 actually elegoo had it on sale for 399. That's where I saw the price from, and the reason that made me question. I decided to just keep the saturn 2. I have both, the resin from elegoo and FDM by ender 3 v2 neo. Now, this is my 1st time using any 3d printer and if anything I will be returning the FDM printer. The easiness and simple to deal with and faster than FDM ender 3 I am really liking the resin version, and saturn 2 is built like a tank if you compare to this ender 3 v2 neo. I never realized just how small and "cute?' LOL the ender 3 was. I had nothing but issues with ender 3. It's very fragile like. I can rip the ender in many pieces with hands if I wanted to. Good luck.
Hey! Anyone have an Stl or something for an adapter to that back vent port? To 100mm vent duct? I'd be eternally grateful! I wanna hook it up to a ventilator
Did that print without the cover? My Anycubic wont print if the cover is off. Did you just block the sensor so it thinks the cover is on for filming purposes?
I was chasing speed, but I learned quickly that running 500/mm is not really ideal for lower cost printers. Even the more expensive printers like bamboo or prusa is not even running at full speed which is the 500/mm. Those more expensive printers most run at 250/mm the most. good luck.
It’s fast as fuck. It’s so much faster that I need to find a way to slow it down because the rafts are peeling off on the sides due to the retraction speeds despite me making SUPER slow resin settings in Lychee.
Tbh manufacturers should do away with all those accessories, just the allen wrenches and the 2 spatulas is fine, save whatever few cents on other stuffs and their packaging since they do nothing but might ruin the experience
Heated resin tank, no. Auto resin fill, no. Flex build plate standard, no. I see nothing about this printer that is "ultra". It is just like my saturn 2 8k but with better resolution and wifi ( both of which I don't need). Just the next dribble in trickle down technology releases. I expected more Elegoo, honestly.
It can print much faster, but using that speed comes at the cost of quality/ detail. Meaning the main benefit of it is pretty much irrelevant for the vast majority of users.
@islewebdesign1150 Yep, until that becomes the norm and in 8 weeks they release 'the hyper' which has zero more features and prints 40% faster using technology they had 3 years ago and just trickle down to us. I'm happy for you.Enjoy manually filling your resin tank at ultra speed.

As usual great review, I like the way you present and the models you print are very helpful. Thank you!
I don't get it, from where are people buying that chess piece? where can I download that?
Has anyone changed the ACF to a cleap FEP?
It’s a great printer. Have had mine for 5 months.
Great video review thank you.

hey there, just wondering did you get the saturn 3 to print. I recently purchased this machine and are having the same problem.

Where did you see it for $399, it is $499 where I search...

Is there a way to turn off that bed home beep sound? Mine should arrice in a few days and that beep is going to annoy me, lol.

All my Elegoo printers print without the lid on without modifying or doing anything.

Is it really faster than the Saturn 2? Eleego said it’s 3x faster but with the new fast resin. So if you use any other resin, is it any faster?

Those masks are NOT for resin. You need actual sealed rubber face mask with organic chemical filters to actually effectively filter resin fumes.

yup. I learned quickly. Keeping my saturn 2 and get rid of the cute ender 3 v2 neo.😅

Better not ever buy anything since they'll have an improved version soon, huh?@handsofrhythm3415
You should challenge yourself to make a review without using the word "nice" or its variants.
