Well, you will probably not like it that much and would want to apply some EQ yourself. It is very unlikely that a pickup of this nature will sound natural on its own.
I haven’t tried that. This particular guitar is tricky because of its tornavoz. It does not enable me to put my hands inside the guitar, so I can only use this type of pickup or use a microphone.
Nice performance. I have one installed on my classical guitar, the raw sound is bit electronic (stock cable), not sure if equalizer will help in my case
Thank you thank you and thank you, I was looking for how to get a natural sound out of this pickup. I spent already over 500 EUR on pedals and di boxes but no results. I wish I saw your review before I spent All this money 😢😢. So, you are using only the EQ box, and the alpha pre amp? Only 2 things, or are you using an ir or di box or preamp box or any other pedal? In your demonstration, I couldn't hear any plasticy sounds of the the pickup Wich is great 👍👍👍 Thank you again, I really appreciate your review❤
You are more than welcome! Yes, I am not using any DI box, only the EQ pedal going direct into the Alpha, and then to my interface (a cheap Behringer UMC204HD). On my DAW I added the reverb, but that's it... nothing else. Try the trick with an EQ pedal and let me know how it goes. I must say though that the guitar also plays a big part. I don't know what guitar do you have (budget or concert level)? Cheers!
@@doctor7music91 I have 1911 Manuel Ramirez it's a really good guitar with big volume. I bought the DPA goos mic and the Neumann goos mic too. Both have really bad problems with feed backs when I play in concerts. The best one so far is the pickup you are using. But in my case it sounded plasticy. You did a great job at EQ ing this picup. Sounds much much better and natural. Good job 👍👍
@@doctor7music91 one last question if possible, what did u use with the cable of the picup , I couldn't quite understand your modification method. Also what is the model of the alpha Amp? Thank you 1000 times again 🌹
@@melodology-5383 Ohh, you have a lovely guitar!! I was thinking about getting the Neumann, but was worried about feedback, so thank you this time for confirming my fears.
@@melodology-5383 I still have the original cable and it is intact. I have a wireless system for my electric guitars, and that system came with two cables: the original and a better one. I have just changed the jack on the original from a 6.3mm to a mono 3.5mm, and am using the wireless instead, to prevent people or myself from stepping into the cable and risking breaking the pickup. The system is an AKG SR40. The amplifier is an AER Alpha, 40 W. Hi, that is Asturias, by Isaac Albeniz. I have another video where I play it entirely. You might also have heard it in the intro of Spanish Caravan, by The Doors
Thank you for the review. However I wished that you played without the EQ/Amp so I could hear its raw sound with the pickup alone.

Great work, brother :) I am a huge fan of high *value* gear. This is a prime example. Excellent playing too!
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated. Cheers
first part... beautiful low string sound!
Glad you like it!
Salute! Very helpful demonstration and skillful playing as well. Can you share the name of the first melody please? Thank you sir..
Capricho Árabe, by Francisco Tarrega. Cheers and thanks!
Thanks! Great review (and sound). Helped me to decide… I’m gonna get one 😊
Glad I could help!
Very helpful. Thank you.! Amazing playing as well.🙌
Thank you very much and you are welcome!
Great demonstration and beautiful playing! What is the device on your hip? Many thanks for this information.
That’s the transmitter for the wireless system. Muchas gracias!
I have the journeytek tranducers that go inside under the bridge. They were like $45 -$54
Not sure how much better this one is.

great review thanks, I have the KNA2 and sounds great, but it sounds better with a pre in mý opinion
I guess the EQ in this case acts as a preamp but I could try a parametric EQ too? Thanks for checking it out!
What pre?
@@user-kg4tt9vu8t the nux mg 30 has an acoustic pre , very good quality sound
BRAVO!!!
Gracias Pablo! Saludos

Give it a try. A graphic EQ pedal can be had for little money and if you don’t like it, you can sell it back. Let me know what you find out. Cheers!
@@doctor7music91 Thanks for replying, I will for sure try out the graphic equalizer and let you know.

Grazie 1000
Sounds great
Thanks mate! Glad you liked it.
does an eletric guitar eq pedal works for classical guitar ?
Claro que sim!
It does. I put pickups inside my cheap nylon string
Thank you !
