Then one person came up to me and said, “AYYYY COMO ESTAS GÜEY?!”
Then I realized that I landed in America and I was not black. I was Puerto Rican...
😂😂😂😂
Only Mexicans and I believe Guatemalans say "Guey", not Puerto Ricans, or any other central or South American.
Don’t bother...they won’t understand the difference
@IvoryPearl Boricuas, Papi!
Bet they gave you free tacos
3:02 I can't believe the subtitles just said '(black laughter)' 🤣🤣😭😭

Trevor is truly gifted with impersonating people and accents.
Coming from Baltimore, I can honestly say that was very accurate. Fo sho!
My cuton my Curtin stop moving
Your observations are truly "spot on"! In N.Y.C. many years ago "the walk" was referred to "as ditty boppin'".Ditty boppin "casually",
implied confidence, exaggerated ditty boppin implied..."I'm ready...you want some a'dis"! Laughter is truly the best medicine. Best wishes...'na mean!
You are the best and most humble fellow....No sadness around when u are around...Naw mean!! Could'nt get any better.
Bless America !!
Merci beaucoup.
I have seriously no words for this man ! A true legend ! Wow man... you really got me there.... wow just wow !
He's not wrong, lol. American blacks are cool as fuck. It was the first thing i noticed when my dad brought me and my family to the US
@Chris Leonard After the Dems put them on welfare
Chris Leonard I think it’s time to let it go,long time ago dude
Chris Leonard Oh Negroe stop it! Every Black person ain't "kool" and don't want to be! You ate up that comment like it's some badge of honor! A lot of people in our community are lazy so cut the crap!!
Chris Leonard slavery you know exactly what I meant,I don’t know what I find more distasteful your hate preaching or your constant baiting to get some sort of racist remark out of me so you can play victim
@@carolinethomas2154 I guess theres some sort of quality over quantity in African Americans if what you say is true. There is no denying that they are mainly the ones who influenced alot of American Pop culture today. They made alot of things I've always considered mundane interesting too. One of the reasons they are one of the most interesting people in America in my opinion.
It’s the same here in England with athletes. When they lose they are Welsh,Scottish or Northern Irish,BUT when they win then all of a sudden they are British 🤔 💚🇮🇪
It's so sad! I am crying with you from Johannesburg (South Africa). Thus hypocracy!
I don't know how many times I have watched this, and I'm still laughing. Trevor, you are a genius.
Hello Carolyn how are you doing?
❤HAHAHA brilliant.
Without question, your insight into this subject matter is bordering on perfection. The ‘blackness spectrum’ is not viewed similarly around the world. You’re right, the US tends to popularise and glamourise this subject with the rest of the world observing with curiosity and in most cases, juxtaposing it to their culture. This is so nuanced, but you managed to drill down so skilfully in exposing it. . You’re the man Trevor! !!
Imagine a movie with Trevor,Kevin Hart ,Tiffany Haddish and Dwayne name it
Minus tiffany and that cast would pop!
Tiffany Haddish is not funny!
It'll be LIT

"This is Sparta" "N'a Mean" This was awsome trevor. "Helll Yeah"!!!! Power to the Black, And don't look Back!!!!!
Big ups Trevor for giving props to African Descendants of Slaves. Hard to get black foreigners and mixed race folks to acknowledge our brilliance and support us yet, benefit from all our hard work to get them where they are.
.....realize when someone is mocking you.
Ain't nobody mocking u .I'm Somali from Sweden we all imperyse adopted ya culture the whole world wanna be like u .Amerika aint shit Whit out ya....ya r flaver that make that weak azz Amerika tast sweat

@@PMGflavour dang why you had to do them like that?? Lmaoooo I feel you though, they usually wanna learn from black people to take the culture. 🤦🏾♀️ at least they wanted a black friend fr tho... most whites be trying to AAVE (& miserably failing) & don’t have a single black friend.. & we can ALWAYS tell when it’s super faked & forced! Always. when someone says “CHILLI” instead of “CHILD” after reading “chile” online.. you already know they ain’t got a single black friend. 🤦🏾♀️
This comment section should be called the “Quoting section”
Actually, pretty much almost every RUclips comment section are the “Quoting Section”!
That shit is so annoying. I mean I get it already, you want a like/thumbs up for your dumb comment.
Big facts
You don’t see Africans speak this highly about us. Thank you T. Noah.🙏🏾♥️for acknowledging who got tha souuuuuullllllllllll baby
Yesssss sirrr!! Definitely got the soul!!
& yeah It’s sad how they usually don’t like black Americans & most will use some of the same racist talking points white people do smh & will still copy everything we do just like the racist craquers 🤦🏾♀️ then will say WE don’t like THEM.. I be like how you figure that???
the problem starts by thinking africa is country and view people the same there is south africa nigeria, ghana, etc let yourself know which africans u talking about
Thanks so much for coming to America!! We're so very fortunate. (You could have picked a nicer country... but we so needed you.)

Do love immigrants or only golden ones?
I swear... Pres. Obama got that bounce ..damn so accurate!😅😅
Yes! Like when he gave his coffee salute, so smooth, and the shades! Meanwhile this prez looks like is a hot mess, saluting the enemy, a North Korean general.
One of best funny comedians and show host Mr Trevor Noah of South Africa, kudos to you my man.
You haven't explored a wide range of comedians have you?

I never encountered anyone who was as fascinated by language and accents as I was! Love him.
I am too! Lol I love it

For real I like when black people r talking English even though I understand 0.003% of it. Love from the black factory (Africa) 😂🤣😂😂
but about 98% of Black people have a white voice they use in different environments

I'm African (Zimbabwean southafrican) and English is my first language but recently l have been learning both my parents native languages (my mum- shona & my dad - zulu)
@@happyplace11 where was you born?
willie417 It is known as “Code switching.” Going forward, let us refrain from saying we switch to a “white” voice. We Black Americans have a voice wherein we more properly enunciate our words to sound more professional. People say “talking white” as if white is the gold standard in all things proper. Trust, it is not. 😏✊🏾
