The thing i found with creating mandalas is the more I slowed down and worked on techniques the faster i naturally became because i built up muscle memory, especially training my eyes to naturally line things up . I haven't spent much time with swooshes so it would take me alot longer, where as i can cover a larger area with dots without gridlines fast because thats what i spent my time focusing on. Is it possible to 3d print a giant stamp with all the base regular shaped dots on a sprta 3d stamp guide. Then you only need to add the swoops.. could also have other sets of dots stamps you could even layer on each other Would still take like 5 hours of work....but getting the base dots done at once would be sick. Could have mini paint cups..super mini, serving as the paint to dip in..with magnets on the bottom..and stick them on a large board, arranged underneath the dots ends. But could model the nibs to be like your favorite dotter. Would need water pressure to clean tho
I think that takes away a lot of the joy of making your own unique patterns with dots etc. The beauty of this artwork is the meditative aspect. Sitting down and being intentional and mindful with each dot and brushstroke. This world is full of "fast" or "cheap" work. I want to do the opposite. I want to bring mindfulness and intention to create something unique that comes from the soul or higher realm.

Probably not including breaks and stopping, but a total of 10 hours actually doing it. I’m sure it took days because of drying and all of that.
