- In this video we are going to explore the very basic dot mandala patterns you should know to get started. This consists of regular dots, "walking the dots" and swooshes. These 3 simple patterns will give you the base that you need in order to begin mandala painting and from there you can start incorporating more complex patterns. As a beginner it's important to keep it simple!
