    I saw a great tip for your paint palette - put a piece of Glad Press and Seal on it before you pour in your paints then you just peel it off and throw it away. No paint down the drain!

    It makes sense painting the black base coat with a multi surface paint, especially as I live in the tropics and moisture is always an issue. So I have taken your lead and am waiting for my order of Folk Art MS black paint to arrive. Finishing with Triple Thick or any gloss, makes it irrelevant whether we use a matte or satin black background.

    I"m newer to this art and really enjoyed your presentation. Kind of liked your casual, go with the flow attitude vs. placing a grid. You say,,if you don't like it just clean it up. So many channels get all into the exactness of this art. Looking forward to more.

    • @thoughtfuldots
      @thoughtfuldots  2 года назад

      Ohhh I am so glad you enjoy the "go with the flow". I am an Aquarius and much of my life is about flow and what FEELS right. It can drive some people nuts but I feel there are certain people who will appreciate that. Mandalas can be very precise and even mathematically perfect. But when it comes it dot painting I feel like we can relax a little bit and ease into the flow and appreciate the even "imperfect" outcomes. Thank you for being here!!
