How about just don't drink during the season. AFL is so backward is some ways. All levels condone it. As if the team wouldn't perform better not drinking. Go t o another club if you can't handle it,. One day a club will have the courage to do it.
Rubbish comment. For one, players often perform better when they have a balance of enjoyment in their lives rather than hyper-focussing on something 100% of the time, so it's definitely not a black and white decision. Secondly, there are some clubs that have imposed full drinking bans during seasons before. Not sure how they went, you'd have to look that up. Just an ill-informed comment from you though.
