This is an excellent video, thank you Camille 🙏🏻
Although I understand that this video was just created, I wish it was created sooner. I would have understood better “singing from your diaphragm.” Back in November I began teaching myself how to sing by using different lesson techniques here on RUclips. But before, I had always sang from my throat mostly and with that always had a sore throat or even a nasty sinus infection. Anyways, I couldn’t understand what the term meant until one RUclipsr said after you do your exercises, unclench the jaw. Take a few deep breaths and exhale. He said as you begin to take breath to sing. to take a deep breath in like your smelling a bouquet of roses (of course create space in the black of your tongue for higher sound) It’s been working for me and just wanted to share this information. I hope this also helps someone ❤

The throaty version lacks resonance and the bottom frequencies. Maybe that is why my voice is so sharp and my tuner thinks I'm singing 1-2 octaves higher than I am?
