One year ago, my student Isabella learned EASY ON ME by Adele in one of my favorite carpool lessons of all time! She was just beginning her vocal training and learning her technique, and in one year, she has learned and grown into an amazing young singer! I wanted to do this before and after reveal to show singers just how much they can grow and improve in a year! I know it gets hard sometimes singers, but don't give up! I promise you, you will get better and the best is yet to come!

I have never took singing lessons. But watching Cheryl’s videos and doing her vocal warmups and singing in my car everyday has improved my vocals so much. Just sing whenever you can. I probably annoy all of my Snapchat friends with my car singing but it helps lol.

Just to be honest, I cried. She's so incredible, so powerful.
I've been dreaming of having a voice like hers since I am 12. I'm 17 now, I will turn 18 on September.
I was never able to attend to singing lessons and the little bit that I've learned was from watching RUclips. Lot's of the videos I watched were yours.
Lately I've been thinking of just giving up. My dad tells me that I sing bad, and sometimes I feel like he's so right.
But just for the message at the end of the video I will prove him wrong. The one that fails is the one that stops trying.
kEEP GOING !!!! I was crying today cause I had strained my voice so much yesterday, and go from loving my voice to thinking I sound like crap and that my voice really isn't so special or even good, to loving it again, to crying, to more frustration.. Keep watching those videos and keep trying to improve. I thing Bella has definitely showed us how much room there is to grow and how we should all believe in ourselves a little more

I remember seeing the first video with Isabella and thinking her voice was so good! A year later and she improved SO MUCH and the riff on 6:00 WHATTT!!!?? she's done such a good job yand improves so much and Cheryl is an amazing teacher, I hope she can teach me one day :)
This video proves that the voice is a muscle and with hard work, you can strengthen it, iron out the creases, and find pure beauty in your natural voice. Watching this young girl sing with so much passion and power inspires me deeply to continue my musical journey!

Her posture changes a lot, she is so much more comfortable. Her vibrato improved and her voice has no cracks. She has a beautiful voice and can hit the notes so well now.

As a music teacher, you do very well with her, the tone that she makes in her lows and highs that the song must have, there is a great change in the person who is singing

This video was actually really encouraging! Even though I have terrible stage fright I tried taking voice lessons for a year, and yes, I improved but I think I'm still at the stage Bella was a year ago. I haven't put any effort into practicing singing since I stopped taking lessons. But I think I'm going to start practicing again so that one day I'll be where Bella is now. Thank you Cheryl and Bella for posting this. It gave me some encouragement to not give up and to face my fears.
You can tell how much more she is relaxed. I think that’s because I remember Isabella telling Cheryl about how she was bullied. She’s a lot more confident now, she’s grown up to be a great singer in one year. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! ❤

As someone who just started singing in late December after being scared to for years, this is so inspirational and cheryl has been very helpful especially in the beginning where breath and volume was still pretty hard her workouts did a lot. Felt so much of that muscle after doing them so much hahaha.

I’ve been scared for a while I’ve been in Choir all 4 years but December was a big moment because I had my first duet in a concert
@@emirhankotluk1548 practice singing by yourself until you feel comfortable then try again.
@@emirhankotluk1548One tip I find works well is to imagine what it would be like on stage before you go on, preferably much before, and just picture how it would look and how you would feel and what you would be thinking, and then just let the nerves, anxiety, whatever it is, flow through your body. Just sit there and let the feelings come. When you do this, your brain becomes acquainted with the feelings and that way when you experience them on stage your brain will be like 'oh, I've already gone through this before and I came out just fine', and it won't seem as terrifying. I hope this helps, much love ♡♡.

Best thing about her improvements is that she knows where in between the verses does she need to adjust her breaths. Shes nailing it already!

This is so awesome her voice has a natural beautiful tone. I love the way she also recognizes her mistakes right as she would reach for those difficult notes as she elevates to the higher notes.
Kudos to her teacher for showing her how to elevate, how to rise above those note esses right to the bridge. I love how to make those 🎶 elevate as she rises to the next level as well with those riffs runs as we would say back in our days. she Also the crescendos as she rides those notes without hearing her breath controlling not to brake into those notes she rides them out so effortlessly.. 👏🏽🙌🏻🙌🏽👏🏻
My mother was a classic pianist at the age of eight where she taught her siblings and played while my grandfather preached.
Mother taught her own cantata in Germantown how to sing.
I learned to play by ear my sister learned to play by music and song in my mother's choir at the age of 11 while everyone else was in their twenties, older and some married.. At the time I was too young to be taught so I watched and listened to my mother turning the pages as she played in cantatas and learned on my own by ear to play.
Now I've learned to read music fairly but play by ear much easier.
Decided to start working on my own vocals to try and get better but my sister was the singer in the house. I went on to teach others how to sing but never took the time to really work on myself.
I'm so amazed and love watching the teacher teach with those lovely expressions she makes to help you get those notes to elevate to where they need to be. Also the stability she shows how to stabilize those notes in your breathing as you elevate or do crescendos. You both are awesome. What a great teacher and what an awesome student you have there.
May God continue to bless you both with such an amazing talent abs you both need to take a bow.

Growing up is not the easiest time to develop a singing voice. Mine went from countertenor to bass within a year. There were times went I did the whole range of voices within one sentence. So mighty respect to this young lady here for what she did back then and what she is doing now.
